Zero gravity, Festival Internazionale per il teatro contemporaneo e la performance, invita compagnie e gruppi di teatro e di danza a partecipare a festival.

Il festival si terrà a Knezha, in Bulgaria presso il National Cultural Center Borba 1896, dal 26 giugno 2017 a domenica 2 luglio 2017.

Il festival internazionale per il teatro contemporaneo e la performance /IFCTP/ Zero gravity Knezha 2017, organizzato negli ultimi nove anni come NIATF Zvezden prah dall’ NCC Borba1896 con l’esclusiva cooperazione del Ministero della Cultura, Pleven’s Social Fund – Culture Centers, Artist Foundation, Town’s Institute Foundation, Baroque, Ybssti e America for Bulgaria Foundation, organizza la sua prima edizione come festival con un nuovo concept.

IFCTP Zero gravity non ha carattere competitivo, lo scopo è presentare una varietà di spettacoli, modelli e tendenze del teatro contemporaneo e della performance, incoraggiare gli incontri e lo scambio culturale tra formazioni teatrali e di danza, gli artisti le loro organizzazioni, fornire uno spazio culturale libero, in cui stimolare lo sviluppo delle forme d’arte.

In questa ottica la committenza organizzativa fornisce un importo di 1000 BGN per stimolare lo sviluppo.

Il programma del festival è organizzato in tre direzioni:

• Il programma teatrale è suddiviso in tre moduli: danza contemporanea, performance e forme teatrali interdisciplinari.
• Il programma dei workshops aiuta a finire il prodotto artistico, come risultato di una collaborazione tra mentore e partecipanti al festival. Il team dei mentori è composto da specialisti dei rispettivi campi sia nazionali che esteri. I partecipanti ricevono un attestato.
• Parallelamente al programma del festival una sezione che include eventi e processi culturali innovatici.

Chi può partecipare?

E’ permessa la partecipazione di gruppi di tutte le età. Ogni gruppo presenta uno spettacolo con parte a predominanza non-verbale oppure teatro-danza, teatro, teatro d’ombre, pantomima, scena sperimentale fino a 60 minuti. Un team di mentori, esperti dei vari campi  supporta il lavoro dei partecipanti attraverso consigli professionali, discussioni condotte, preparando un’analisi dettagliata del lavoro. Se necessario gli organizzatori coprono il mantenimento tecnico del gruppo e l’equipaggiamento basilare del palco.

International Festival for Contemporary Theater and Performance Zero gravity is calling for theatrical and dance companies and groups for participating in the festival – theatrical, attendant program and artistic workshops.

We are pleased to inform you that International festival for contemporary theatre and performance /IFCTP/ Zero gravity Knezha 2017, organized in the last nine years as NIATF Zvezden prah by NCC Borba1896 with the exclusive cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Pleven’s Social Fund – Culture Centers, Artist Foundation, Town’s Institute Foundation, Baroque, Ybssti and America for Bulgaria Foundation, included in the National cultural calendar of MC, full-pledged member or BFA, with major media partner – Bulgarian National Television /BNT/ organizes its First edition as a new festival concept.

IFCTP Zero gravity has no competetive character, the goal is to present a diversity of spectacles, models and different tendencies of the contemporary theater and performance, to encourage the meetings and cultural exchange between theatrical and dance formations, artists and their organizations, to provide a free cultural space, which stimulates the development of the contemporary forms of art.

In this regard the Organizing committee provides a prize in the amount of 1000 BGN for stimulating development.

The festival program is organized in three directions – theatrical, attendant program and artistic workshops:

• The theatrical program is divided in three modules – contemporary dance, performance and interdisciplinary theatrical forms.
• The artistic workshops aim to prepare a finished artistic product, a result of the colaboration between mentors and participants in the festival. The team of mentors is compound by approved specialists in the respective field from the country and abroad. The participants receive a graduate course certificate.
• The attendant and the festival programs are conducted in parallel and include a selection of innovative cultural events and processes.

Who can participate?

A participation of all age groups is allowed. Each group presents a spectacle with a predominate non-verbal part /motion, dance theater, shadow theater, pantomime, experimental scene forms/up to sixty minute /excluding forms are only approved by the Organizing committee/. A team of mentors, experts in the field of contemporary art, supports the work of the participants through professional advices, conducting discussions, preparing a detailed analysis of the work of directors, actors, dancers and scenographers. If needed the organizers cover the technical maintenance of the groups and the basic equipment of the stage.

• Artistic characteristics of the group /Word document, no more than ½ a page, A4 format/;
• Documentary about the performance;
