I candidati devono avere capacità nella gestione di progetti partecipativi di comunità oppure esperienza nella formazione in ambiente coreutico, ed essere versatili performer che possano dimostrare competenza nell’insegnamento e nell’ideazione coreografica. Si accolgono candidature da diversi background culturali e di danza ed incoraggiamo gli artisti BAME a candidarsi.
Il progetto:
Parte di Real Life, Real Dance: un intenso progetto performativo per Pupil Referral Unit. Basato sul modello che Protein ha sviluppato negli anni questo progetto ha come scopo di entrare in confidenza coi giovani, accrescere l’autostima e la realizzazione grazie al loro inserimento in una compagnia d danza professionale. In 3 intense settimane di residenza all’ARC Stockton, Protein lavorerà coi partecipanti per creare una performance che verrà presentata allo staff alla famiglia e agli amici alla fine del progetto. Esso offre ai partecipanti un intenso periodo di classi giornaliere, seminari creativi e di lavorare in direzione di uno spettacolo per il pubblico.

Luca Silvestrini’s Protein Workshop Audition
Luca Silvestrini’s Protein is looking for a professional dance artist for their Real Life, Real Dance programme during Spring 2019. We are looking for a dance artist who is experienced in working with young people and has a keen interest in working with students from a pupil referral unit.

Participant recruitment workshops: Availability required from 4-8 March 2019 will take place in Stockton 3 week

CALL OUT FOR A DANCE ARTIST
Applicants must have skills in delivering community participation projects or dance in educational settings,and should be versatile performers that can demonstrate proficiency in teaching and devising choreography.
We welcome applicants from a diverse range of cultural and dance backgrounds, and encourage artists from BAME communities to apply.
The Project:
Part of Real Life, Real Dance: An Intensive Performance Project for a Pupil Referral Unit
Based on a model that Protein has developed over the past ten years, this project aims to build young people’s confidence, self-worth and achievement through their incorporation within a professional dance company. Over an intensive three-week residency at ARC Stockton, Protein will work with participants to create a performance presented at the end of the project to staff, family and friends. The project offers the participants an intense period of daily classes, creative workshops, rehearsals and work towards a performance for an audience.
