Zurich Dance Academy is looking for a Ballet pianist
The Zurich Dance Academy is Switzerland’s professional ballet school for classical dance, and is part of the Department of Performing Arts and Film at the Zurich University of the Arts. We train young people from Switzerland and abroad to become professional stage dancers in our wide-ranging course programme (preparation classes, foundation studies and main studies).
From 1 August 2018 the Zurich Dance Academy is looking for a Ballet pianist, 70-90% for the foundation and main study courses.
You have advanced training in piano and excellent improvisation skills. You have several years of experience in accompanying ballet courses at professional level (classical dance, pas de deux, character dance and knowledge of the classical ballet repertorie) and you enjoy working successfully in a team. This position involves around 20 lessons a week.
We offer an interesting and challenging position in an active and dynamic teaching environment. You will be working in a coherent team of international teachers.
