TANZFONDS ERBE, Fondo per il patrimonio della danza, finanzia progetti artistici su larga e media scala che siano focalizzati sul patrimonio della danza. Il finanziamento è fino a un massimo di € 100,000 per ogni progetto.
Il finanziamento può includere:
- Ricostruzioni, ri-allestimenti, nuove produzioni o nuove interpretazioni di lavori coreografici che furono creati in Germania nel XX secolo e che ebbero particolare impatto nello sviluppo della danza;
- Adattamenti di lavori coreografici internazionali che hanno avuto particolare influenza nello sviluppo della danza in Germania nel XX secolo;
- Ricerche (attraverso diversi formati, ad esempio letture, performance, installazioni, mostre o film o progetti on-line) di temi, periodi, luoghi, o artisti rilevanti per la storia della danza nel XX secolo.
- spettacoli ospiti di progetti già finanziati da TANZFONDS ERBE (vedere l’apposito modulo di richiesta di finanziamento guest-performance).
Singoli ed istituzioni con un comprovato background nella danza sono idonei per candidarsi. Ciò include in particolare:
- Compagnie di danza finanziate da fondi pubblici o teatri nazionali
- Coreografi indipendenti e gruppi in co-operazione con un luogo
- Teatri, spazi per la danza, Centri Coreografici e archivi
- I candidati devono avere il loro principale luogo o domicilio di produzione in Germania
- I progetti finanziati devono essere presentati in Germania.
- TANZFONDS ERBE generalmente fornirà un finanziamento a progetti di media e larga scala fino a € 100,000. I candidati possono richiedere fino all’80% del costo. I progetti finanziati devono pertanto pianificare il restante 20% del costo progettuale sia per mezzo di proprie risorse che per mezzo di terzi.
La borsa TANZFONDS ERBE non è idonea se:
- se la richiesta di co-finanziamento sia da parte del singolo che da parte di terzi non è stata fissato entro il termine fissato per la candidatura
- Il progetto è già stato iniziato prima che la giuria decida sulle candidature, se le spese sono già state sostenute o se sono già stati conclusi gli accordi
- Il progetto è stato finanziato da altre opportunità offerte dal Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media
- La dichiarazione di consenso sul copyright non è stata firmata
- Non c’è alcuna dichiarazione di intento da parte di persone/istituzioni coinvolte nel progetto e/o nessun certificato di conferma per lo spazio
Durata del progetto: il primo progetto è partito a marzo 2015; l’ultimo sarà a luglio 2018. L’uso e la presentazione del materiale storico generalmente comporta problemi di copyright. E’ responsabilità di ciascun richiedente chiarire tutti gli eventuali problemi conseguenti relativi al progetto.

TANZFONDS ERBE. FUNDING CRITERIA
TANZFONDS ERBE (Dance Heritage Fund) finances medium-sized and large-scale artistic projects that focus on the cultural heritage of dance. Funding of up to max. € 100,000 is available per project.
The funding spectrum includes:
- Reconstructions, re-stagings, new productions or new interpretations of choreographic works that were created in Germany in the 20th century and which had a particular impact on the development and reception of dance;
- Adaptations of international choreographic works that had a particular influence on the development of dance in Germany in the 20th century;
- Investigations (via different artistic formats, e.g. lecture performances, installations, exhibitions or film and online projects) of themes, periods, places or artists that were relevant to 20th century dance history.
- Guest performances of projects that have already been funded by TANZFONDS ERBE (see the application form for guest-performance funding).
Individuals and institutions with a proven background in dance are eligible to apply. These include, in particular:
- The dance companies of publicly funded local and national theatres,
- Independent choreographers and ensembles in co-operation with a venue,
- Theatres, dance venues, choreographic centres and archives.
- Applicants must have their principal place of work/domicile and/or production location in Germany.
- Funded projects must be presented in Germany.
- TANZFONDS ERBE will generally provide medium-sized and large-scale projects with funding of max. € 100,000. Applicants can apply for up to 80% of the project costs. The project’s financial plan must therefore show that at least 20% of the overall project costs have been secured either using one’s own resources or via third party funding.
TANZFONDS ERBE funding is not available if:
- Co-financing either one’s own resources or via third party funding has not been secured by the application closing date,
- The project has already begun before the jury sits to decide on applications, if expenditure has been incurred, or if agreements have already been concluded,
- The application deadline has not been met,
- The project is being financed by other funding opportunities offered by the Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media,
- The declaration of consent relating to copyright has not been signed,
- There is no declaration of intent from the persons/institutions involved in the project and/or no certificate of confirmation from the venue.
Project duration: the earliest project start-date is March 2015; the latest end-date is July 2018. The use and presentation of historical materialgenerally involves copyright issues. It is the responsibility of each applicant to clarify all/any project-related copyright issues.
