L’Associazione Culturale The Very Secret Dance Society / Raffaele Irace con il supporto e la collaborazione di Fondazione Piemonte Dal Vivo Circuito Regionale Multidisciplinare hanno annunciato il Bando di SOLOCOREOGRAFICO 2017, Rassegna Internazionale per Coreografia d’Assolo che si svolgerà dal il 26 novembre 2017 alla Lavanderia a Vapore, Centro Regionale per la Danza, a Collegno, in provincia di Torino.
Regolamento
La rassegna coreografica per assoli è aperta ad ogni stile di danza, la scelta del tema e delle musiche utilizzate é libera.
Non ci sono limiti di età per la candidatura, sia per il coreografo che per il danzatore.
I criteri di ammissione alla rassegna sono un intelligente e creativo utilizzo dello spazio e del tempo, la realizzazione di un’idea attraverso la danza di un singolo interprete e la trasmissione dell’opera a quest’ultimo da parte del coreografo.
Durata: la coreografia dovrà avere una durata non superiore agli 8 minuti.
Può essere richiesta l’ammissione di una sola coreografia.
Il coreografo può essere anche interprete dell’assolo.
Per gli artisti residenti fuori dall’Area Metropolitana di Torino, l’organizzazione della Rassegna si farà carico del pernottamento per la durata della manifestazione.
Gli artisti avranno accesso gratuito ai Workshops organizzati all’interno della Rassegna.
I nomi dei membri del Comitato Artistico / Giuria, saranno comunicati sul sito www.solocoreografico.com
Premi
- Premio SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – Miglior Coreografia
- Premio SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – Miglior Danzatore / Performer
- Premio SOLOCOREOGRAFICO / Fondazione Piemonte Dal Vivo. L’opera premiata verrà inserita nella programmazione teatrale della Fondazione Piemonte Dal Vivo 2017-2018. (N.B. Il Premio verrà assegnato in base ad una valutazione effettuata dal pubblico presente in sala).
- Premio SOLOCOREOGRAFICO / Festival 1.2.3…SOLI Lyon. L’opera premiata sará ospite al Festival per coreografie d’assolo di Lyon in Francia, organizzato dalla Compagnie de Danse Michel Hallet-Eghayan.
- Premio SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – Frankfurt. L’opera premiata sará ospite al Festival SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – edizione Frankfurt, in Germania.
- Premio SOLOCOREOGRAFICO / Festival PRINCIPI ATTIVI. L’opera premiata sará ospite al Festival PRINCIPI ATTIVI 2018, Milano (www.pillolefestival.com).
Scadenza del bando
La richiesta di ammissione a partecipare avviene per scritto, attraverso il modulo che si trova sul sito www.solocoreografico.com da compilare e rispedire via email a solocoreografico@gmail.com entro il 15 ottobre 2017.
NOTA BENE Per la chiusura della candidatura sarà necessario visitare la pagina Facebook del Festival www.facebook.com/solocoreografico/ scegliendo l’opzione “Mi piace” in modo da poter seguire più velocemente gli aggiornamenti relativi alla selezione e allo svolgimento del Festival. Altresì per essere successivamente presentati sulla pagina attraverso “tag”.

SOLOCOREOGRAFICO 2017. International Solo Dance Showcase. Open Call

CONDITIONS
The solo dance showcase it is open to every style of dance and the choice of the theme and the music is free.
There is no age limit.
The criteria to participate is a clever and creative use of space and time, the realization of an idea through the dance of a single performer and the transmission of the work from choreographer to dancer.
Duration: the choreography will have a duration of no more than 8 minutes.
Each choreographer can participate with a single choreography.
The choreographer can also be the solo performer.
The organization will provide an accommodation for the selected artists coming from abroad (accommodation for one person for each selected choreography will be guaranteed).
Selected artists will have free access to the dance workshops organised by the Festival during the 25 -26 November 2017.
The members of the Artistic Committee / Jury for SOLOCOREOGRAFICO 2017 will be presented on web page www.solocoreografico.com
AWARDS
- Award SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – BEST CHOREOGRAPHY
- Award SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – BEST DANCER AND PERFORMER
- Award SOLOCOREOGRAFICO / FONDAZIONE PIEMONTE DAL VIVO. The winning work will be included in the theatrical program of Fondazione Piemonte Dal Vivo – Circuito Regionale Multidisciplinare, season 2017/18. This Prize will be decided by the audience. The award might match with one of the main Awards for the Best Choreography or Dancer/Performer
- Award SOLOCOREOGRAFICO / Festival 1.2.3…SOLI Lyon The winning work will be programmed during the Festival 1.2.3…SOLI in Lyon, France, organised by the C.ie Michel Hallet-Eghayan. The award might match with one of the main Awards for the Best Choreography or Dancer/Performer
- Award SOLOCOREOGRAFICO – FRANKFURT Edition The winning work will be programmed during the Solocoreografico – Frankfurt Edition in Germany, Season 2017/18. The award might match with one of the main Awards for the Best Choreography or Dancer/Performer. Prizes will be awarded by a panel of professionals (Artistic Committee) whose decision will be final. If the artist whether it be a choreographer or performer, is a student or a member of the company of one of the jurors , they will abstain from voting for the awarding of the prizes in question.
DEADLINE
The application form to participate has to be filled with all informations required and sent back via email at solocoreografico@gmail.com no later than October 15th, 2017.
