The Solo Dance Contest 2015, un contest per gli assoli di danza in Polonia

L’International Solo Dance Contest si svolgerà durante il Gdansk Dance Festival 2015 a Danzica, in Polonia. Il Concorso è finalizzato al supporto e alla promozione della danza contemporanea in Europa. E’ rivolto agli artisti di danza contemporanea dei Paesi Europei. E’ aperto a danzatori di danza contemporanea (danza contemporanea / balletto contemporaneo) che abbiano una documentata attività artistica o siano professionisti con un diploma di studi di danza. La partecipazione al concorso è consentito agli assoli che siano ‘solo performance’ e il cui debutto sia avvenuto tra il 1 gennaio 2013 e il 30 marzo 2015. Il brano presentato non potrà avere una durata minore di 5 minuti e non deve superare i 20 minuti.
Gli assoli saranno giudicati da una giuria internazionale composta da 5 (o 3) membri. La giuria effettuerà la preselezione e poi procederà a valutare i finalisti. I giurati valuteranno gli assoli per il loro valore artistico, originalità e livello tecnico, la consapevolezza dello spazio scenico e la drammaturgia della coreografia.
Nel concorso ci sono 3 premi: 1 ° premio: € 3.000, 2 ° premio: € 2.000 e 3 ° premio: € 1.000.
L’organizzatore coprirà le spese di viaggio per i partecipanti del concorso in base alle seguenti regole:
a. i cittadini della Polonia riceveranno un rimborso delle spese di viaggio all’interno dell’area polacca (in entrambe le direzioni); Il rimborso sarà effettuato solo sulla base dei biglietti del treno o bus (nessun rimborso per il viaggio in auto);
b. i cittadini polacchi che tuttavia vivono o studiano al di là dei confini della Polonia e i cittadini di altri paesi europei riceveranno un rimborso delle spese di viaggio (andata e ritorno); il rimborso sarà fatto sulla tariffa base di aereo, autobus o biglietti ferroviari per un costo complessivo non superiore a 150 euro (nessun rimborso per il viaggio in auto).

The Solo Dance Contest 2015
The International Solo Dance Contest will take place during the Gdansk Dance Festival 2015. The Contest is to support and promote contemporary dance in Europe. The contest is directed to the contemporary dance artists from the European countries. It is open for dancers of contemporary dance (contemporary dance / contemporary ballet) who have a documented artistic activity or/and are professional dancers with a diploma of dance studies. Participation in the contest for a solo is permitted for solos that are autonomous solo performances, the premiere of which took place between 1st January 2013 and 30th March 2015. The solo should not be shorter than5 minutes and no longer than 20 minutes.
Solo pieces will be judged by an international jury composed of 5 (or 3) members. The Jury will carry out the preselection and then will judge the finalists. The organiserwill invite to the Jury curators of international dance festivals, personages from the artistic world, and experts in the field of contemporary dance. The Jury will judge the solos for their artistic value, technical level and originality, awareness of the performance space and dramaturgy of the choreography. In the Contest there are to be 3 prizes: 1st prize: 3.000 EUR, 2nd prize: 2.000 EUR and 3rd prize: 1.000 EUR.
The Organiser will cover the costs of travel for participants of the Contest in accordance to the following rules:
a. the legal citizens of Poland will receive a refund of travel costs within the area of Poland (both ways); the refund will be done only on the basis of train or bus tickets (no refund for travelling by car);
b. the legal citizens of Poland living or studying beyond the borders of Poland and the legal citizens of other European countries will receive a refund of travel costs (both ways); the refund will be done on the basis of plane, train or bus tickets but the overall cost should not exceed 150 EUR (no refund for travelling by car).
