Il Siobhan Davies Studios ha lanciato una call destinata a coreografi tra i 14 e i 21 anni interessati a mostrare il loro work-in-progress ricevendo feedback dal pubblico in un ambiente favorevole. Questi lavori (in-progress) saranno presentati al Siobhan Davies Dance Young Artists Feedback Forum all’interno del Next Choreography Festival che si terrà a Londra il 3 luglio 2016. A fianco di altri giovani artisti si potrà mostrare il proprio lavoro al Siobhan Davies Studios a un pubblico di gente giovane e curiosa, amici e familiari, ed essere guidati dal critico Liz Lerman nel processo di risposta da parte del pubblico.
Il Siobhan Davies Studios cerca dei work in progress creati da giovani tra i 14 e i 21 anni che richiedano minimo supporto tecnico e della durata massima di 10 minuti.
Il Young Artists Feedback Forum è parte del Next Choreography Festival che si svolgerà al Siobhan Davies Studios domenica 3 luglio 2016 dalle 12.00 alle 20.00 e che comprende workshops gratuiti, performance e proiezioni.
Per candidarsi mandare entro il 5 maggio 2016 una breve descrizione del lavoro coreografico includendo il numero dei gli interpreti, lunghezza, richieste tecniche e foniche, così come informazioni su di sé a lauraa@siobhandavies.com.
Next Choreography è un programma annuale per giovani tra i 14 -21 anni desiderosi di imparare il processo coreografico attraverso le discipline artistiche.
Con regolari sessioni settimanali i partecipanti guardano oltre la danza ai diversi processi coreografici utilizzando le discipline artistiche e frequentando eventi e performances, incontrando artisti e sperimentando in sala. Informati ed arricchiti da queste esperienze, i partecipanti conducono il loro lavoro e producono il Next Choreography Festival al Siobhan Davies Studios in luglio.

Il programma per ragazzi e giovani incoraggia la discussione e l’esplorazione nel fare e nel presentare i nuovi coreografi per e con giovani. Il Siobhan Davies Studios supportia futuro sviluppo dei giovani attraverso opportunità di lavoro e nuove commissioni ai coreografi e aiutia a sviluppare abilità di leadership per propri progetti. Il programma integra lo sviluppo professionale per coreografi emergenti supportando le loro sperimentazioni d’arte coi giovani.

Are you a choreographer in the making? Interested in showing your work-in-progress and getting audience feedback in a supportive environment?
Apply to present your work (in-progress) at Siobhan Davies Dance Young Artists Feedback Forum within the Next Choreography Festival 3 July 2016. Alongside other young artists you will show your work within Siobhan Davies Studios to an audience of curious young people, friends and family, and be guided through audience feedback using Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process.
We are looking for work in progress made by 14-21 year olds requiring minimal technical support, of a maximum 10 minutes duration.
The Young Artists Feedback Forum is part of the Next Choreography Festival taking over Siobhan Davies Studios Sunday 3rd July 12-8pm, including free workshops, performance, and a film screening.

Next Choreography is a yearlong programme for 14 -21 year olds keen to learn about choreographic processes used across artistic disciplines.
Through regular weekly sessions participants look beyond dance to the different choreographic processes used across artistic disciplines by attending events and performances, meeting artists and experimenting in the studio. Informed by these experiences, participants make their own work and produce the Next Choreography Festival at Siobhan Davies Studios in July.
The course runs from September – July each year. Applications for the 2016/17 course open from 11 June 2016. Book a place on our taster sessions to find out more. We support the future development of young artists through opportunities to work with exciting choreographers on new artistic commissions and develop leadership skills to set up their own projects.
