ScreenMotion Festival al TripSpace Projects di Londra ha aperto la sua call per tutti gli amanti della danza, del movimento, del corpo, dell’editing in film e video e invita a sottoporre lavori. La scadenza per l’invio delle candidature è il 16 novembre 2015.

Saranno selezionati video che dimostrino una chiara intenzione, che usino movimento, location(s), paesaggi, movimento di camera e editing per ottenere questa visione. Si cercano lavori che critichino ed espandano la nozione di ‘coreografia’, consentendo al movimento di prendere il centro della scena. Il movimento in video non può essere analizzato nello stesso modo della performance in scena: l’incontro tra movimento e schermo determina nuove condizioni, nuovi testi e quindi nuovi linguaggi espressivi.

La selezione comprenderà produzioni da tutto il mondo. Dopo essere stati visionati da una giuria sarà scelto un vincitore.

ScreenMotion Festival si terrà l’11 dicembre 2015 al Tripspace Project, Londra, UK.

Call:

• Gli artisti nazionali ed internazionali sono inviati a proporre i loro lavori.
• Ogni persona può presentare un massimo di 3 opere, compilando un formulario di candidatura per ogni opera.
• Il festival non pagherà i diritti d’autore ai video.
• L’invio delle candidature al festival è gratuito.
• La durata non deve eccedere i 15 minuti.
• I partecipanti devono essere maggiorenni.
• I partecipanti confermano e garantiscono di detenere i diritti d’autore e l’autorizzazione dei performers, artisti e equipe coinvolta nel lavoro.

Per candidarsi alla pre-selezione si prega di compilare l’ ENTRY FORM e di inviarlo a programming@tripspace.co.uk indicando “Screenmotion Festival” nell’oggetto nella mail. Mandare anche dei fermo immagine del video o del film nella e-mail stessa.

In seguito alla selezione della giuria verranno annunciati gli artisti scelti e a loro verrà inviata una email con le istruzioni per inviare il materiale tramite Wetransfer.

Scadenze: 

• La Call for entries è aperta dal 19 ottobre al 16 novembre 2015
• La giuria lavora dal 16 fino al 23 novembre 2015.
• La notifica della selezione ufficiale verrà data il 23 novembre 2015.
• Invio dei video: dal 23 novembre 2015 al 30 novembre 2015.

ScreenMotion Festival at TripSpace Projects has opened its call for all lovers of dance, movement, body, editing, film and video. You are invited to submit your work until 16th November 2015.

We will select videos that demonstrate a clear intention; that use movement, location(s), landscapes, camera movement and editing to achieve this. We are looking for works that criticise and expand the notion of choreography, enabling the movement to take centre stage. Movement on screen cannot be analyzed in the same way as performance on stage: the meeting of movement and screen determines new conditions, new textuality, and thus, a new expressive language.

The selection will cover worldwide productions. After being screened by our jury, a winner will be selected.

ScreenMotion Festival will be held on 11th December 2015 at Tripspace Project, London, UK.

• National and international artists are invited to submit work(s).
• Each person can present a maximum of 3 works, having to fill a form for each work.
• The festival will not pay right of author for the festival screenings.
• Submitting works in this festival is free of charge.
• Length of the work must not exceed 15 minutes.
• Participants must be 18 years old to apply.
• The participants confirm and guarantee to hold all the copyrights and the authorization of the performers, artists and the crew involved in the work.

Please put Screenmotion Festival in the subject line.
Send a still frame image of the film in the same email.
Following jury selection, the list of selected artists will be announced and we will send an email with instructions for sending documents via Wetransfer.

• Jury working:  from 16th November 2015 until 23nd November 2015
• Notification of results Official Selection: 23nd November 2015
• Sending videos: from 23nd November 2015 until 30th November 2015
