La Rambert insieme al rinomato coreografo Lloyd Newson cerca danzatori uomini per il riallestimento di Enter Achilles dei DV8.
We are looking for performers to play two types of roles:
- Ragazzo / gregario di calcio / gregario di pub. Questo ruolo richiede capacità eccezionali nel contact e nella recitazione oltre alla comprensione della connessione tra significato e movimento.
2. Il personaggio di “Superman” (performer principale nel clip in cui danza Staying Alive) che è di origine sudeuropea o mediorientale. Saper cantare sarà un vantaggio per questa parte.
Sarà vantaggioso apprendere il ruolo che ritenete più adatto a voi, tramite videoclip, prima dell’audizione.
Le prove iniziano a novembre 2019 e la tournée internazionale dal 2020. Il progetto sarà co-prodotto dalla Rambert e dal Sadler’s Wells.

Open auditions in Barcelona, Amsterdam and Sydney for Lloyd Newson project
August-October 2018
Rambert together with world-renowned choreographer Lloyd Newson are looking for male dancers for the re-creation of DV8’s Enter Achilles.
We are looking for performers to play two types of roles:
- Confident/gregarious football lads/blokes in a British pub. This role requires exceptional contact dance and acting skills and an understanding of the connection between meaning and movement.
2) The “Superman” character in the production (lead performer in clip dancing to Staying Alive), who is of Southern European or Middle Eastern origin. Singing skills would be an advantage for this role.
It will be advantageous to learn a role that you feel suits you best from the video clips above prior to the audition.
Rehearsals commence November 2019 and the production tours internationally from 2020. The project will be co-produced by Rambert and Sadler’s Wells.
