Rambert Dance Company cerca un artista ambizioso per essere il prossimo Leverhulme Choreograhy Fellow.
Sarà qualcuno che sta stabilizzando la propria pratica coreografica dopo la carriera di danzatore. Può ancora essere attivo come danzatore oppure aver smesso negli ultimi due anni.
Rambert Dance Company offre una base creativa per sviluppare la propria pratica e finanziamenti per i viaggi, sistemazione, ricerca e sviluppo; il candidato selezionato avrà accesso alle sale prova della compagnia a Londra e al loro processo artistico.
Il ruolo è flessibile e pensato per permettere di combinarlo con altri progetti esistenti o con nuovi progetti. “Cerchiamo qualcuno che sia curioso e che ci sfidi circa il ruolo del repertorio nelle compagnie in generale, ma soprattutto nella Rambert, nell’ambito del panorama coreutico attuale”.
L’impegno è per un anno. “Bisogna avere base nel Regno Unito, ma speriamo che parte del lavoro durante questo tempo si svolga nella nostra sede a Londra”. Lo stipendio è di £15,000.

Rambert Dance Company: Leverhulme Choreography Fellow
Rambert Dance Company is looking for an ambitious artist to be our next Leverhulme Choreograhy Fellow. You will be someone who is establishing a choreography practice following a dancing career. You may be currently primarily working as a performer, or you may have stopped performing within the last two years.
We will offer you a creative base to develop your practice. You’ll have access to our studios on London’s South Bank, our artistic processes, and funding for your travel, accomodation, research and development.
The role is flexible and designed to allow you to combine it with other existing or new projects. We are looking for someone who will be curious and challenge us about the role of repertoire companies in general, and Rambert in particular, within today’s dance landscape.
The appointment is for one year. You do not need to be based in the UK, but we hope that part of your work during that time will take place at our London home. You will receive a fee of £15,000.
