Maya Dance Theatre cerca pezzi di danza di 10 (dieci) minuti massimo. Originali, sviluppati completamente e presentati precedentemente. I candidati selezionati si esibiranno assieme ad altri pezzi per un totale di 3 lavori (tre) performances nel progetto Release 5.0 che si svolgerà l’11 e 12 marzo 2016 a Singapore.

Quando: 11-12 Marzo 2016 .

Si cercano:

• lavori contemporanei e adattamenti
• lavori ispirati all’Asia all’interno di una visione contemporanea.
• adattamenti o nuove creazioni

Il supporto tecnico e di marketing sarà dato ai candidati scelti. Questi sono responsabili per i loro voli, alloggi e pasti.

Linee guida per la candidatura: 

Inviare:

• una breve lettera che spieghi il tuo interesse al programma.
• Una dettagliata descrizione del progetto (non più lunga di 3 pagine). Assicurarsi di specificare le necessità tecniche.

Gli organizzatori avvertono che il piano luci e le richieste tecniche devono essere molto semplici poiché tutte le performances saranno nello stesso spazio teatrale e useranno lo stesso piazzato generale.
• inviare esempi del lavoro: videos e photos di passati lavori o di precedenti performances; articoli stampa  clippings of your show and or performances.)
Nella richiesta di candidatura è anche necessario includere :

• il promo video completo del lavoro proposto (10 minuti)
• corta sinossi del progetto
• breve curriculum vitae del/la coreografo/a e degli artisti coinvolti (il palcoscenico è agibile per circa 10 danzatori)

OPEN CALL FOR DANCE CREATORS FOR RELEASE 5.0 (Singapore)

Maya Dance Theatre are looking for short dance works of 10 (ten) minutes max. Original, fully developed and previously presented. Selected applicants will perform alongside other curated works, performing in a total of 03 (three) shows in the creators’ dance project, ‘Release 5.0′ from 11-12 March 2016 in Singapore.
Deadline for application: 31 August 2015, 2359 hrs Singapore Local Time (GMT+8).
Where: Goodman Arts Centre, Singapore.
When: 11-12 March 2016.

We are looking for:

• Contemporary works and adaptations.
• Asian inspired works within contemporary design.
• Adaptations or new interpretations. Technical and marketing support will be provided for successful applicants.

The applicants are responsible for their flight, accommodations and meals.

Submission Guidelines
Please submit:

• A brief cover letter explaining your interest in the programme.
• A detailed project description (no longer than 3 pages).

Make sure to specify your technical needs. We strongly advise that you keep your lighting and technical requirements very simple, as all performances will be staged in the same theatre space using the general lighting plot.

• Work samples (These may include: videos and photos of past work or of previous presentations of the proposed dance work; reviews and press clippings of your show and or performances.)

Don’t forget to include:

• full video promo of your proposed project (10 mins)
• Short synopsis of the project
• Short CV of the choreographer & resumes of the primary artists involved (Stage is able to accomodate 06 dancers)
