MoveMe cerca danzatori da inserire nel loro team di freelance dalla primavera 2017. Si cercano danzatori che siano appassionati alla loro forma d’arte e comunicativi con diverse varietà di pubblico.
Il punto focale della compagnia MoveMe è che chiunque possa danzare. I suoi eventi di danza partecipativi offrono l’opportunità di riscoprire il puro divertimento della danza. Si cercano ballerini professionisti, formati nelle tecniche contemporanee, che abbiano presenza fisica e voce chiara, e che sappiano insegnare. I lavori della compagnia sono costruiti per essere insegnati attraverso un metodo narrativo, leggero, non ancora sotto pressione energica.
La compagnia è giovane e nel pieno dello sviluppo di nuove attività. MoveMe punta sull’entusiasmo e sulla personalità di ciascun performer per supportare e rappresentare l’immagine di cosa fa e di chi è. Lavora con un team di danzatori freelance che si inseriscono nel gruppo ogni volta che ci sono eventi. Va in scena con eventi che sono flessibili sia per le dimensioni che per la collocazione (festival, luoghi d’arte, city halls, centri commerciali, centri urbani etc.) e si svolgono sia in interno che all’esterno per un pubblico che varia dai 10 ai 500 o più partecipanti.
L’audizione si svolgerà a Londra (UK) il 9 febbraio 2017.

MoveMe è una compagnia no-profit diretta dal direttore artistico Bert Roman e dal Produttore Jeanette Hinton. Bert è un danzatore e coreografo belga che lavora da 10 anni nell’ambito della scena contemporanea coreutica europea. Attualmente di base a Londra, Bert fonda MoveMe nel 2011 dove inizia la sua sperimentazione con l’idea che “chiunque possa danzare”. Recentemente MoveMe ha ricevuto supporto e commissioni da partners quali l’Islington Council (Community Hire Scheme), il Barbican Centre, l’ Hampshire Cultural Trust, la NHS St George’s University Hospital Trust e il Dance Woking.

MoveMe is looking for professional dancers to join its team
MoveMe is looking for professional dancers to join our vibrant team of freelancers from Spring 2017. We’re looking for articulate dancers who are passionate about their art form and confident communicators with a wide range of people.
MoveMe’s core idea and vision is that everyone can dance. Its participatory dance events offers people the opportunity to re-discover the sheer fun of dancing. We’re looking for professional dancers, trained in Contemporary techniques, who have a clear vocal and physical presence whilst teaching. Our dances are constructed to be taught via a storytelling method, light-hearted, non-pressured yet energetic.
The company is still young and in the midst of developing new streams of activity. In these exciting times we’re counting on the enthusiasm and the personality of each performer to help support and represent the image of what MoveMe is and does. We work with a pool of freelance dancers who join the company every time there are events. We stage events that are flexible in scale and location – ranging from festivals, arts venues, city halls, in shopping centres, corporate offices and community centres. Our events take place indoors or outside for 10 to 500+ people attending.

MoveMe is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee led by Artistic Director Bert Roman and Producer Jeanette Hinton. Bert is a Belgian trained dancer and choreographer who worked for 10 years within the European contemporary dance scene. Now based in London, Bert founded MoveMe in 2011 where he started experimenting with the concept of “everyone can dance”. MoveMe’s recent supporters and commissioning partners include: Islington Council (Community Hire Scheme), Barbican Centre, Hampshire Cultural Trust, NHS St George’s University Hospital Trust and Dance Woking.
