Si cercano giovani danzatori stimolanti per video musicale e performance a Londra. Nello specifico 3 danzatrici e 2 danzatori per i seguenti lavori:
- 2 riprese video a luglio e agosto 2017 (le date esatte verranno comunicate)
- 3 performance allo Ugly Duck a Londra dal 1 al 3 settembre 2017
Si cercano danzatori e danzatrici versatili e aperti all’approccio con improvvisazione / ideazione / live art. C’è bisogno di essere a proprio agio nel cambiare ed indossare una vasta gamma di costumi.
“A noi piacciono Kate Bush, Bjork, The Knife … la modern dance, le assurdità, il minimalismo, il punk anni 80, i riferimenti pop …” scrivono gli organizzatori.
All’Ugly Duck, Livia Rita & band faranno il concerto che darà vita al loro imminente album live. Un aggiuntivo aspetto visivo e identitario è creato dai danzatori e dai costumi, trasformando il concerto in un’esperienza 4D forte di emozioni e immagini.
Livia Rita ha svolto e sviluppato le sue ricerche teatrali partendo dalla musica live al Barbican, al Rich Mix, allo Hackney Showroom e allo Yard Theatre; suoi mentori sono Lea Anderson e Lindsay Kemp.
Ci saranno diversi shoots di video musicali e spettacoli a seguire e si cercano performer anche per future collaborazioni.
L’audizione si terrà sabato 1 luglio 2017 a Londra al Rich Mix dalle 16:00 alle 18:00
Il lavoro è retribuito l’ammontare esatto dipende dai finanziamenti e dal tempo dell’ingaggio.

Dance Audition for music videos and performances in London
We are looking to meet some exciting young dancers.
We are specifically looking for 3 females and 2 males to join us for the following:
- Two music video shoots in July and August (exact dates tbc, set to release later this summer)
- Three performances at Ugly Duck in London from 1st – 3rd September.
We want you to be a versatile dancer and be open to approaches of improvising / devising / live art. You will need to be comfortable with wearing a range of costumes.
We enjoy the feel and vibe of Kate Bush, Bjork, The Knife… modern dance, absurdism, minimalism, 80s Punk, pop references…
At the Ugly Duck, Livia Rita & band will perform their forthcoming debut album live. An additional visual layer & identity is created by dancers and costumes; turning the concert into a 4D experience of stark emotions and imagery.
Livia Rita has researched & developed these theatrical ways of performing live music at the Barbican, Rich Mix, Hackney Showroom and the Yard Theatre; mentored by Lea Anderson and Lindsay Kemp.
There will be more music video shoots and performances following; we are looking forward to meeting a variety of performers, with future collaborations in mind.
Audition: London, UK. Saturday 1st July at Rich Mix at 4pm – 6pm
We will double-check dates with everyone we invite before the audition.
