Kinosaki Onsen (Giappone) - Kinosaki International Arts Center
Sono aperte le candidature per il Programma di residenza 2017 al Kinosaki International Arts Center (KIAC). KIAC è una struttura dove gli artisti possono concentrarsi sulla loro attività e dal 2014 vi sono stati molti artisti per creare opere che sono poi state presentate in Giappone e all’estero.
Kinosaki International Arts Center è situato nella città di Kinosaki Onsen, una cittadina termale giapponese con 1300 anni di storia. Kinosaki si trova a Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture (nord di Kyoto), che è ben conosciuto per il suo ricco ambiente circostante e la reintroduzione delle cicogne bianche orientali.
Giunti al quarto anno del programma di residenza, i criteri di selezione 2017 saranno basati sui risultati delle produzioni precedenti, così come la presenza delle seguenti caratteristiche nelle opere proposte: il potenziale di distribuzione, l’internazionalità, la regionalità, l’innovazione e la promessa futura.
Attraverso questo programma di residenza speriamo di creare opportunità di scambio e creazione tra gli artisti, i residenti locali e i turisti.

Attività che possono candidarsi
I seguenti due punti sono requisiti necessari :
- Le creazioni devono essere incentrate sulla moderna performing arts. Così come le attività artistiche e la ricerca è possibile tenere e partecipare a letture e simposi
- Le attività dovrebbero essere realizzabili (fornire i risultati delle passate attività, piano di produzione, budget, dettaglio del progetto, etc.) Le attività dovrebbero essere in grado di essere condotte e gestite appropriatamente.
Supporto
Kinosaki International Arts Center supporterà gli artisti con:
1.) Uso gratuito degli studi del Kinosaki International Arts Center.
2.) uso gratuito della residenza (= sistemazione. Possibile fino a 22 ospiti).

Kinosaki International Arts Center. Performing arts residency call
Applications are now open for the 2017 Artist in Residence Program at Kinosaki International Arts Center (KIAC), a creative residence facility centered around the performing arts. KIAC is a facility where artists can concentrate on their creative activities, and since 2014 many artists have stayed here to create pieces of work which have then spread throughout Japan and overseas.
Kinosaki International Arts Center is situated in Kinosaki Onsen town, a Japanese hot spring town blessed with 1300 years of history. Kinosaki is located in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture (north of Kyoto), which is well known for its rich natural environment and successful reintroduction story of Oriental White Storks.
Coming into the fourth year of the residence program, the 2017 selection criteria will be based upon previous production results, as well as the presence of the following characteristics in the proposed works: potential for diffusion, internationality, regionality, innovation and future promise.
Through this residence program, we hope to create opportunities for exchange and creativity between artists, local residents and tourists.

Intended time period: 1st April 2017- 31st March 2018
Activities which can be applied for
The following two points are necessary application requirements:
- Creations should be focused on modern performing arts. As well as artistic activities and research, it should also be possible to hold and participate in lectures and symposiums.
- Activities should be realizable (provide results of past activities, the production plan, budget plan, project scale, schedule etc.) Activities should be able to be appropriately managed and carried out.
Support
Kinosaki International Arts Center will support the artists with:
1.) Free use of Kinosaki International Arts Center hall, studios.
2.) Free use of residences (=accommodation. Possible up to 22 guests).
