Costa Contemporanea, Festival of Contemporary Dance and Performing Arts (Spagna), ha lanciato una richiesta di candidature per il III European Choreography Contest Mujer Contemporanea dedicato ad assoli di danza contemporanea creati da coreografe residenti nell’Unione Europea.

Quest’anno sono in palio numerosi premi che intendono aiutare lo sviluppo professionale delle finaliste donne.

Obiettivo del contest è incoraggiare la creazione artistica fra le coreografe donne che lavorano nella scena artistica spagnola e europea e riconoscere i loro progetti creativi e coreografie.

Per questa edizione una preselezione verrà fatta dagli organizzatori del festival e da consulenti esperti. Le tre coreografie finaliste andranno in scena il 31 agosto 2016 nell’Anfiteatro di Rodalquilar di Almería durante il Festival Opening Gala. Quel giorno un’altra giuria deciderà l’ordine dei premiati dopo aver assistito allo spettacolo con le tre coreografie finaliste.

Un dossier contenente: Curriculum Vitae e un breve dossier che delinea la carriera professionale fino ad oggi. Una descrizione della coreografia che si vuole presentare, il contenuto e la sinossi. Aspirazioni future e desideri: le intenzioni della coreografa, breve descrizione dei passi successivi e obiettivi di carriera. Fotografia.
Un video completo del lavoro attraverso un link privato o disponibile su qualsiasi piattaforma internet. Registrazioni al di sotto dei 10 minuti e superiori ai 15 minuti non saranno accettati.

L’organizzazione prevede borse di studio parziali per le spese di viaggio e borse di studio complete per alloggio / indennità / per-diem.

Costa Contemporanea, Festival of Contemporary Dance and Performing Arts (Spain), has announced the call for entries for the III European Choreography Contest Mujer Contemporanea which is open to contemporary dance solos created by female choreographers residing in the European Union.

This year a larger list of prizes is offered, prizes which are intended to be helpful in the professional development of the female finalists.

The aim of the contest is to encourage the artistic creation among female choreographers working in the Spanish and European arts scene and acknowledge their creative projects and choreographies.

This year there will be a pre-selection made by the organization of the festival and expert consultants. Three finalist will perform on the 31st August 2016 in the Amphitheatre of Rodalquilar, Almería, in the Festival´s Opening Gala. That day another jury, will award the prizes after seeing the works performed.

Dossier: Curriculum Vitae and a brief dossier that outlines professional career to date. Description of the piece to be presented, its content and synopsis, Future aspirations and wishes: the intentions of the choreographer, brief description of next steps and aims in their careers. Photography.
A non-edited Video –recording of the complete work: on a private link to any Internet platform. Recordings under 10 minutes or over 15 minutes will not be accepted.

There are partial grants for travel expenses and full grants for accommodation/allowances/per-diems

The deadline for submitting complete applications is 8^th May 2016.
