Ignition Dance Festival sta cercando due compagnie di danza emergenti a cui commissionare i lavori per apertura e chiusura della Community Dance Platform.
Dove: a Londra presso il Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith oppure Rose Theatre, Kingston
Quando: Sabato 3 giugno oppure sabato 17 giugno 2017
Ignition assegnerà £ 500 a due coreografi o compagnie per creare il lavoro. Un pezzo dovrebbe essere presentato al Community Dance Showcase sabato 3 giugno 2017 presso il Lyric, Hammersmith e un altro pezzo selezionato sempre per la Community Dance Showcase sabato 17 giugno 2017 al Rose Theatre di Kingston.
La call si rivolge a compagnie e coreografi emergenti che stanno cercando di costruire la loro storia ed acquisire esperienza nella creazione del lavoro per un festival. Si accolgono con favore le candidature da parte di coreografi e compagnie che operano in tutti i generi. Le performances dovrebbero essere ottimiste, divertenti, ispirate ed eseguite da tre o più ballerini.

Bursaries – Emerging Choreographers & Emerging Companies
Ignition Dance Festival is looking to commission two emerging dance companies to create an opening ceremony and finale for the Community Dance Platform. Our professionally produced Community Dance platform will be hosted with a compere and include work by community groups from across West London.
Where: Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith or Rose Theatre, Kingston – London
When: Saturday 3 June or Saturday 17 June
Ignition will award £500 to two choreographers or companies to create the work. One piece would be performed at the Community Dance Showcase on Saturday 3 June Lyric, Hammersmith and one piece selected for the Community Dance Showcase on Saturday 17 June at Rose Theatre Kingston.
The bursary would appeal to emerging choreographers and dance companies that are looking to respond to a brief, build performance history and gain experience of creating work for a festival. We welcome applications from Choreographers and Companies working across all genres. The performance should be upbeat, fun, aspirational and performed by three or more dancers.
