Hofesh Shechter Company offre un’opportunità per eccellenti giovani danzatori tra i 18 e i 25 anni che dimostrino alto livello, molto talento, impegno, ed entusiasmo per il lavoro di Hofesh Shechter. Questi giovani danzatori potranno prendere parte al programma di apprendistato Schechter II. Questa è una stimolante offerta per danzatori all’inizio della loro promettente carriera, poter lavorare con Hofesh Shechter su un programma che girerà sia nel Regno Unito che internazionalmente. I danzatori avranno inoltre la possibilità di lavorare nella compagnia principale.
Periodo: 11 mesi da gennaio a novembre 2018.
Il contratto parte dal 2 gennaio 2018.
La retribuzione come apprendista è di £250 alla settimana. Quando si è in tournée al di fuori di Londra si riceve alloggio, diaria e tutte le spese personali di viaggio oltre alla normale paga.
Questa è una grande chance per i giovani danzatori di poter lavorare in modo ravvicinato con Hofesh Shechter e nelle sue classi in compagnia sviluppando in tal modo capacità artistiche e professionali mentre si è supportati finanziariamente. Si prega di notare che il ruolo non costituisce un formale apprendistato e l’impiego terminerà alla fine del periodo concordato.
Informazioni sull’audizione
L’audizione è aperta solo per danzatori di età compresa tra 18 e 25 anni.
Bisogna essere autorizzati a vivere e lavorare nel Regno Unito così da poter partecipare a questo programma poiché la compagnia non può fornire permessi di lavoro per programmi di apprendistato.
L’audizione si svolgerà a Londra presso il Trinity Laban, Creekside, con il seguente calendario:
- Audizione per danzatori con sede nel Regno Unito: venerdì 25 agosto 2017.
- Audizione per danzatori internazionali: sabato 26 agosto 2017.
- Recall: domenica 27 agosto 2017.

La Compagnia Hofesh Shechter riceve moltissime candidature per le sue audizioni pertanto è importante per la compagnia sapere accuratamente e in anticipo quanta gente ci sarà. Al momento della prenotazione vi verrà chiesto di pagare un piccolo deposito di 10 sterline per garantirvi l’audizione; esso vi verrà rimborsato il giorno stesso alla fine. Una volta che si è prenotato si riceverà una email di conferma che informa della procedura di registrazione. Portare curriculum vitae di una pagina con foto ritratto (la foto del passaporto va bene, per la compagnia è sufficiente che nella foto siate riconoscibili ed essa non sarà restituita).

I candidati devono essere disponibili per l’intero periodo fissato ovvero da gennaio a novembre 2018. Nessuna eccezione.
I danzatori che partecipano all’audizione devono essere disponibili sia il giorno indicato che il giorno del recall (nel caso siano selezionati).
Durante l’audizione la compagnia si riserva il diritto di chiedere ai candidati di andar via in qualsiasi momento; potrebbe accadere anche dopo un periodo davvero breve di lavoro in sala.
A causa dell’elevato numero di partecipanti non possiamo dare alcun feedback individuale.
Ai danzatori è chiesto di danzare con calzini, no piedi scalzi o scarpe da ballo. Le ginocchiere sono permesse e benvenute.
Bisogna arrivare 45 minuti prima per registrarsi. Si avrà accesso alla sala per il riscaldamento circa 30 minuti dell’inizio dell’audizione.

Hofesh Shechter Company. Paid Apprenticeship Programme – Shechter II
Hofesh Shechter Company is offering an opportunity for eight outstanding young dancers (18‐25 years old) who can demonstrate high levels of commitment, enthusiasm for Hofesh Shechter’s work and exceptional talent to join our apprentice programme, Shechter II.
This is an exciting offer for dancers at the start of their promising careers to work with Hofesh on a programme which will tour both in the UK and internationally, as well as opportunities to work with our main company. There will also be involvement with the delivery of our wide and varied participation programme.
Fixed Term – 11 months January – November 2018
Contract start date: 2 January 2018
You will be paid an apprentice salary of £250 per week. When on tour outside of London, you will receive accommodation, a small living expense (per diem) and all of your travel expenses, in addition to your weekly fee.
This is a great chance for young dancers to work closely with Hofesh Shechter and his world class company developing artistic and professional skills whilst being supported financially. Please note the position does not constitute a formal apprenticeship and the employment will end at the end of the agreed fixed term.

This is an open call for 18-25 year old dancers only.
Please note you must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to participate in this programme as regrettably we cannot provide work permits for apprentices. There are limited slots and these are allocated on a first come first served basis. Hofesh Shechter Company receives a large amount of applications for its auditions and therefore it is important for us to know accurately how many dancers will attend by allocating time slots in advance. To allow us to give you a greater experience on the day, upon booking you will be asked to pay a small deposit of £10 to guarantee your audition time slot. This deposit will be refunded on the day. Once you have reserved a slot, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you of our registration procedure. IMPORTANT AUDITION INFORMATION: PLEASE READ BEFORE ATTENDING THE AUDITION
Please bring a one page CV and headshot when you attend the audition (a passport photo is OK – we don’t need you to spend a lot of money on this photo as it will not be returned to you and we just need it to be able to recognise you).
We regret that we are unable to accept DVD/video link auditions.
Applicants must be able to commit to the entire fixed term period from January to November 2018. No exceptions.
Dancers attending the audition must be available for their allocated audition slot and the recall day (if selected).
The Company reserves the right to ask auditionees to leave at any point during the audition; this may be after a very short period working in the studio.
Due to the large number of dancers attending we are unable to offer individual feedback.
Dancers will be required to dance in socks – no bare feet, trainers or ballet shoes. Kneepads are allowed and welcome.
You need to arrive 45 minutes before your audition slot to register. You will have access to a warm-up area 30 minutes before your audition starts. We request that you familiarise yourself with Hofesh’s work if are planning to attend the audition.
