Friday Island cerca artisti dal Lussemburgo e dall’estero che lavorino in qualsiasi settore (arti performative, belle arti, video, film, letteratura, etc.) per il suo prossimo evento il 23 febbraio 2018. Tema: Freedom of the Body.
Unité Vivo è uno delle strutture abitative di Solidarité Jeunes, un’associazione attiva nel sociale e nell’ambito educativo, il cui scopo è aiutare bambini e giovani adulti in qualche aspetto sociale o in difficoltà familiari. Lo spazio Friday Island – Freedom of the Body sarà il parcheggio underground della struttura Unité Vivo.

Il tema dell’evento è La libertà del corpo. Il tema dovrebbe essere approcciato in relazione a una prospettiva sociopolitica e filosofica. Il contributo artistico può prendere qualsiasi forma d’espressione inerente la questione e dare un punto di vista non conforme.
Gli artisti riceveranno una remunerazione di 600,00 euro come contributo artistico, un rimborso spese viaggio verso Lussemburgo Città fino a 150,00 euro su richiesta. La sistemazione per tre notti sarà fornita dall’organizzazione.

Freedom of the Body. Call for proposals (Luxembourg)
Friday Island is looking for artists (from Luxembourg and abroad) working in any medium (performing arts, fine arts, video/film, literature, etc.) for its next event, February 23rd, 2018 – Theme: FREEDOM OF THE BODY.
Unité Vivo is one of the housing structures of Solidarité Jeunes, an association active in the social and educational domain, whose goal is helping children and young adults in some kind of social or family difficulties. The Friday Island – Freedom of the Body venue will be the underground car park of the housing structure Unité Vivo.

The theme of the event is FREEDOM OF THE BODY. The theme should be approached in a critical way in relation to social/political/philosophical perspectives. The artistic contributions can take any form of expression as long as they question the theme and suggest a non-conform point of view.
The artists will receive a remuneration of 600,- euro per artistic contribution, travel refund to Luxembourg City up to 150,- euro are also available upon request. Accommodations for three nights will be provided by the organisation.
