Per l’edizione 2017 del festival Firenze Suona Contemporanea si cerca un gruppo di performer volontarie di diverse etnie, donne d età sotto i 35 anni, per un progetto a Firenze in autunno con l’artista Vanessa Beecroft.
Danzatrici, performers e attrici sono particolarmente benvenute tuttavia non sono richieste speciali capacità professionali. Le performance mostreranno le normali fisicità dei soggetti coinvolti. Una buona attitudine corporea è preferita oltre alla disponibilità alle sessioni previste per costumi e trucco, e alla nudità artistica.
Per preparare la performance è programmato un workshop di training per alcuni giorni – indicativamente tra il 15 e il 22 settembre 2017. Le performances si terranno a Firenze dal 29 settembre 2017 a Palazzo Strozzi e il 2 ottobre 2017 agli Uffizi.
Chi desidera partecipare alla selezione può mandare una email a debora.ercoli@gmail.com fornendo i propri dati (nome e cognome, indirizzo e-mail e contatto telefonico) con curriculum vitae e foto (ritratto, foto a figura intera sia frontale che di profilo). Una preselezione verrà effettuata su Curriculum vitae.
La prima audizione si terrà a Firenze questo mese pertanto presentate la vostra candidatura. I dettagli dell’audizione verranno forniti ai partecipanti selezionati.

Firenze Suona Contemporanea 2017. Vanessa Beecroft Project. Open Call for Females under 35
The 2017 edition of the Firenze Suona Contemporanea Festival is looking for a group of volunteer performers of different ethnicities, females under the age of 35, for a project planned in Florence this fall with artist Vanessa Beecroft. Dancers, performers, and actors are particularly welcome, however, no special skills will be required for non-professionals. The performances will show the normal physicality of the subjects. Good body aptitude is preferred in addition to availability to perform sessions with stage dress, makeup, and artistic nudity.
To prepare for performances, a training workshop is scheduled for a few days – tentatively between September 15-22, 2017. The performances will be held on September 29th at Palazzo Strozzi and October 2nd at the Uffizi Gallery.
Anyone who wishes to participate in the selection can send an email to debora.ercoli@gmail.com by providing her data (first and last name, e-mail, and telephone contact) and by submitting a curriculum vitae with presentation photos (head shot, full body frontal and full body profile). The artist will choose the most suitable subjects among the applications received to interpret and participate in the project. A pre-selection will be made from each CV.
The first auditions will be held in Florence this month (June 2017), so get your applications submitted. Details will be provided to the selected participants.
