Il concorso Eurasia Videodance Contest, per l’edizione 2020 intitolata Stay Home (Stai a Casa), vuole essere ispirato a questi giorni e quindi vuole spingere i partecipanti a rendere la propria casa il palcoscenico della loro creatività e performances, aiutandoli a scoprire un lato positivo nel compito di Restare a casa.
Il concorso è aperto a danzatori e coreografi di ogni provenienza.

I video selezionati e quindi i coreografi / danzatori saranno premiati con:
1 ° premio: il coreografo / danzatore selezionato per il primo premio sarà invitato al Gdansk International Dance Festival, EurAsia Partner in Polonia, per la proiezione del suo progetto video. Il Festival offrirà al vincitore un compenso, voli ed alloggio. Il primo video selezionato avrà inoltre la possibilità di essere proiettato anche al Centro Coreografico di Cracovia.
2 ° premio: il secondo progetto video selezionato sarà proiettato presso il Centro Coreografico di Cracovia, EurAsia Partner in Polonia.
Entrambi i video saranno proiettati all’interno degli eventi EurAsia in tutti e cinque i continenti attraverso i partner EurAsia
Tutte le proiezioni avverranno entro la fine del 2021
Tematica ed idea: Vivendo tra le mura di casa possiamo essere ispirati a esplorare questi spazi limitati che danno sfogo al nostro quotidiano. Osservando il nostro collocarci negli spazi casalinghi e giocando con i nostri corpi negli spazi vuoti e non vuoti delle diverse stanze, possiamo creare sequenze di movimento che, mescolate ai nostri umori e sensazioni derivanti dagli eventi di oggi, possiamo dare vita a nuove creazioni e storie vere: chi può dimenticare Enter Achilles o Dead Dream Of Monochrome Men dei DV8 o Rosas Danst Rosas di Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker e molti altri ancora!
Questo è un nuovo evento EurAsia che quest’anno vuole aiutare gli studenti e danzatori EurAsia che stanno combattendo questa battaglia contro il COVID-19 come tutti noi. Dato che tutti siamo obbligati a rimanere a casa, anche i nostri EurAsia Students in Europa, lontani dalle loro famiglie e dai loro parenti, con una condizione economica già precaria, in queste settimane non possono insegnare e continuare a lavorare nei loro luoghi d´impiego.
Per aiutarli e quindi sostenere le loro spese durante questo triste periodo, il direttore artistico di EurAsia, Stefano Fardelli, lancia questo concorso di video danza a cui possono partecipare danzatori e coreografi di tutto il mondo.
La domanda sarà accettata entro il 30 giugno 2020 solo dopo aver ricevuto una donazione libera, a partire da una base di 5 euro, che sarà interamente donata e divisa tra gli studenti EurAsia Students & Dancers con maggiore difficoltà in questi giorni di epidemia.
Il Concorso Internazionale è organizzato da Eurasia Dance Project International Network diretto da Stefano Fardelli. Il concorso ha un’applicazione online in cui i partecipanti possono inviare i propri video entro il 30 giugno 2020.
C’è una singola sezione dedicata alla danza contemporanea nelle sue varie sfumature stilistiche.
I progetti possono essere solo o duetti o collettivi, ma i danzatori nel video, se più di uno, devono essere coinquilini del danzatore o coreografo che presenta il progetto poiché il progetto vuole essere ispirato da questa quarantena forzata in cui noi tutti viviamo a causa dell´ epidemia Coronavirus.

Eurasia Videodance Contest
Eurasia Videodance Contest , for the edition 2020 entitled Stay Home, wants to be inspired by these days and so it want to push the participants to make their own home the stage of their creativity & performances, helping them to see a positive point in the task of Staying Home. The contest is open to dancers and choreographers of any origins.

Deadline 30th of June 2020
The selected videos and so the choreographers / dancers will be awarded with:
1st prize: the choreographer / dancer selected for the first prize will be invited at the Gdansk International Dance Festival for the screening of his / her selected video. The Festival will offer at the winner a fee, flights and accomodation for the commitment. The 1st selected video will have the chance to be screened at the Choreographic Center of Krakow as well
2nd prize the second selected video dance project will be screened at the Choreographic Center of Krakow.
Both videos will be screened within EurAsia Events in all the five continents through the EurAsia Partners
All the screening will happen within the end of 2021.
TOPIC & IDEA: Living within the walls of our house we can be inspired to explore these limited spaces that give vent to our lives. By observing our daily lives and playing with our bodies in the empty and non-empty spaces of the different rooms, we can create sequences of movement that, mixed with our moods and sensations arising from today’s events, we can give life to new creations and real stories: who can forget “Enter Achilles or Dead Dream Of Monochrome Men by the DV8” or “Rosas Danst Rosas by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker” and many more too!
This is a new EurAsia Event that this year want to help the EurAsia Students & Dancers who are fighting this battle against the COVID-19 like all of us. As we all have to stay at home, also our EurAsia Students & Dancers in Europe, far from their families and relatives, with already a precarious economic condition, in these weeks they cannot teach and continue to work at their places of employment.
In order to help them and so to support their lives during this sad period EurAsia´s Artistic Director Stefano Fardelli is launching this Eurasia Videodance Contest where dancers and choreographers from all over the world can partecipate.
The application will be accepted within June 30th 2020 only upon receipt of a free donation, starting from a base of 5 Euros, which will be fully donated and divided among the EurAsia Students & Dancers with greater difficulty in these days of epidemic.
The International Competition is organized by Eurasia Dance Project International Network directed by Stefano Fardelli. The contest have an online application where participants can send their own videos within June 30th 2020.
There is a single section, made by Stefano Fardelli, dedicated to contemporary dance in its various stylistic nuances.
The pieces can be solo or duet or collectives, but the dancers in the video, if more than one, must be flatmate of the dancer or choreographer presenting the project as the project wants to be inspired by this forced quarantine we all are living in these days of epidemic.
