ITSLIQUID Group, in collaborazione con ACIT Venezia – Associazione Culturale Italo-Tedesca, è lieto di annunciare il bando aperto per la 14a edizione di Contemporary Venice, mostra di fotografia, pittura, video arte, installazione/scultura e performance art, che si terrà a Venezia, a Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello e in altre prestigiose sedi e palazzi storici, dal 15 al 29 marzo 2024.
La 14a edizione di Contemporary Venice analizza il rapporto tra corpo e spazio e l’ibridazione tra identità e contesti culturali/fisici/sociali/urbani in epoca contemporanea, attraverso due sezioni principali: MIXING IDENTITIES e FUTURE LANDSCAPES.
MIXING IDENTITIES analizza le parti nascoste delle nostre identità, attraverso un’esperienza immersiva nell’affascinante universo dei complessi labirinti della nostra coscienza. Il corpo umano è un sistema mutevole che ci connette con altri corpi e spazi per percepire la realtà circostante; un forte sistema di comunicazione con il suo linguaggio e le sue infinite modalità di espressione.
I FUTURE LANDSCAPES (paesaggi del futuro) sono astratti, infiniti e concettuali, associati a un senso di libertà e di estensione infinita. Sperimentati principalmente con la mente, gli spazi ridefiniscono i loro limiti e confini, trasformando le superfici in un flusso aperto di idee pure. Questa sezione si concentra sul concetto di confine e sulle strutture tra corpo, mente e anima, sull’identità umana e sulla città, sullo spazio e sul suolo.
Il termine ultimo per la presentazione delle candidature è il 29 febbraio 2024.
La partecipazione comprende i seguenti servizi:
- spazio espositivo gestito da professionisti dell’arte
- assistenza per le formalità doganali, le spedizioni internazionali e i trasporti locali
- assistenza nella ricerca di un alloggio
- progettazione e stampa di biglietti d’invito e poster
- ufficio stampa globale e locale, pubblicità, stampa, banner, totem, ecc.
- realizzazione del sito web della mostra e dei comunicati stampa dedicati
- montaggio e smontaggio della mostra
- evento di inaugurazione della mostra con bevande e cibo
- un’intervista dedicata pubblicata sul sito web di ITSLIQUID e diffusa sui social network.
Gli artisti interessati a partecipare alle mostre sono liberi di essere sponsorizzati e sostenuti da istituzioni, organizzazioni, governi e loro rappresentanti; i loghi degli sponsor saranno inclusi in tutte le comunicazioni (digitali e cartacee) degli eventi. Contemporary Venice 2024. Call for artists
ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association, is pleased to announce the open call for the 14th edition of Contemporary Venice, an exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture, and performance art, which will take place in Venice, at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello and in other prestigious venues and historical buildings, from March 15 to March 29, 2024.
The 14th edition of Contemporary Venice analyzes the relationship between body and space, and the hybridization between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings in contemporary times, through two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE LANDSCAPES.
MIXING IDENTITIES analyzes the hidden parts of our identities, through an immersive experience inside the fascinating universe of the complex labyrinths of our consciousness. The human body is a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces to perceive the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its language and infinite ways of expression.
FUTURE LANDSCAPES are abstract, infinite, and conceptual, associated with a sense of freedom and infinite extension. Primarily experienced with the mind, spaces redefine their limits and borders, transforming surfaces into an open flow of pure ideas. This section focuses on the concept of the borders and the structures between body, mind, and soul, the human identity and the city, the space, and the ground.
Deadline for applications is February 29, 2024
The participation includes the following services
- exhibition space managed by art professionals
- assisting with customs formalities, international shipping, and local transport
- assisting in finding accommodation
- the design and printing of invitation cards, posters
- the global and local press office, publicity, press, banners, totem, etc.
- the realization of the exhibition website and dedicated press releases
- mounting and dismounting of the exhibition
- exhibitions opening event with drinks and food
- a dedicated interview published on the ITSLIQUID website and spread on our social networks
Artists interested in participating in our shows are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments, and their representatives; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists are free to take part in one or more events. Click here to take part in the selection.
Artists, photographers, video makers, and performers are invited to submit their works. To take part in the selection, send your work submissions with a CV/biography, some still images (for video art), links to videos/films/performances, and pictures via e-mail to info@itsliquid.com
