La Compagnia Chameleon, con sede a Manchester ,offre l’opportunità per un ballerino con esperienza di far parte del team a partire da aprile 2015, con contratto di dipendente a tempo pieno con la Compagnia. Il candidato dovrà trasferirsi a Manchester (se non è già residente in città).

I candidati devono aver ricevuto una formazione da una Scuola o un Conservatorio riconosciuto. Si ricerca un danzatore con esperienza ed ottima tecnica contemporanea e partnership. I candidati devono avere almeno tre anni di esperienza di lavoro in una compagnia professionale.

Il lavoro si svolgerà principalmente nella base a Manchester ma sarà anche previsto un tour nazionale e internazionale per tutto l’anno. Le posizioni e gli impegni dei danzatori variano a seconda dei tempi e dei progetti che si svolgono in quel momento nella Compagnia.

Company Chameleon. Male Dancer. Full-time, Salaried. Manchester, UK based

Company Chameleon is offering the exciting opportunity for an experienced male dancer to join our core artistic team from April 2015, in a full-time salaried position with the Company. The successful applicant will be required to re-locate to Manchester (if not already residing in the city).

Applicants should have received training from a recognised school or conservatoire; we are looking for an experienced dance theatre artist with excellent contemporary technique and contact improvisational / partnering skills. Candidates must have at least three years experience working in a professional touring dance company. Extensive performance experience, familiarity and openness to different choreographic approaches and proficient teaching skills are all essential – this post will cover three main areas of responsibility:

• Rehearse and perform in Company repertoire (indoor venues / outdoor festivals)
• Assist Artistic Directors in choreographic/creative development of residencies/projects
• Actively engage in the delivery of learning and participation programmes

Whilst the role will primarily be working in the Company’s home base of Manchester, the successful candidate will also be expected to tour nationally and internationally throughout the year – locations will vary depending on the Company’s touring schedule and projects taking place at that time.
