Cinematica è un festival internazionale che si occupa della relazione immagine-movimento nelle arti visive, filmiche e performative.
Il filo conduttore della V edizione che si terrà ad Ancona, in Italia, a metà marzo 2018, è IN VIAGGIO, suggerendo una riflessione creativa sul tema dello spostamento, del mutamento spazio-temporale, del viaggio in un altro luogo, spazio o stato interiore che contribuisca a comporre una differente geografia dell’anima. Sul tema del viaggio come agente di trasformazione raccogliamo proposte artistiche per l’edizione 2018 del Festival.
Destinatari
Artisti di qualsiasi età e nazionalità (anche in forma associata) nelle diverse sezioni sottoindicate con un curriculum all’attivo di almeno tre anni di esperienza professionale (post formazione).
Sezioni
Si accettano opere che rispondano al tema della V edizione del Festival IN VIAGGIO nelle seguenti sezioni:
a) VIDEODANZA: opere di videodanza (no registrazioni di spettacoli) di durata max 10 minuti.
b) PERFORMANCE: (preferibilmente assoli o duo) che propongano relazioni innovative e poetiche tra danza/teatro e nuove tecnologie, danza/teatro e immagine (video o animata, anche per bambini), performance public engaging (itineranti o one to one).
c) SET AUDIO/VIDEO: vj-set, experimental audio/cinema, set audio visivi che propongano una differente modalità di approccio alla visione e all’ascolto musicale.

Risultati
-Per la sezione VIDEODANZA: una selezione di video verrà effettuata a discrezione dell’organizzazione. I video verranno visionati durante le giornate del festival durante proiezioni pubbliche. Al termine del Festival il video vincitore verrà insignito di un premio in denaro da parte di una giuria composta da almeno 3 esperti del settore.
-per la sezione PERFORMANCE e SET AUDIOVIDEO: i progetti selezionati a discrezione dell’organizzazione saranno ospitati all’interno della programmazione con un contributo economico da valutare in base al progetto. Gli artisti saranno ospitati a carico dell’organizzazione (max due persone) . Per i viaggi il festival darà un rimborso spese fino a max 100€ a compagnia.

Cinematica Festival 2018. Call for artists
Cinematica is an international festival that deals specifically with the image-movement relationship in the visual and performing arts.
The underlying theme of the fifth edition (mid-march in the adriatic seaport town of Ancona-IT) is IN TRANSIT, suggesting a creative reflection on the theme of displacement, space-time change, travel to another place, space, or inner state that contributes to compose a different geography of the soul. On the theme of travel as a transformation agent we collect artistic proposals for the 2018 edition of the Festival.
Recipients
Artists of all ages and nationalities (including artists associated) in the different sections indicated below with a resume assets of at least three years of professional experience (post training).
Sections
We accept works that respond to the theme of the fifth edition of Cinematica festival in the following sections:
a) VIDEODANCE: works of video dance (no recordings of performances) of max 10 minutes duration. Will be selected works that have a strong focus on fitting in relation to choreography or that convey a sense of motion (not necessarily human and choreographycal in the strict sense) through the language of film and / or animation
b) PERFORMANCE: (solo or duo) that propose innovative and poetic relationship between dance /theatre and image (video or animated, even for children), dance/theatre and new technologies, public engaging performance (itinerant or one to one).
c) AUDIOVISUAL SET: VJ SET , Experimental audio/video, dj set with struck, vivid and attentive work on visual and motion image.

Results
The outcome of the evaluation will be communicated to selected artists.
-For VIDEODANCE section: a shortlist of video will be choosed by the organization and viewed during the days of the festival. At the end of the Festival one video will be awarded with a money prize by a jury of at least three experts. Other prizes will be given at the discretion of the organization.
-For the PERFORMANCE and AUDIOVISUAL SET sections: projects selected will be included in the program with a financial contribution to be assessed according to the project. The artists will be hosted by the organization (maximum two). For travel, the festival will give a reimbursement of expenses up to max 100 € per company.
