Lucky Shots è una performance di danza in cui l’atto di cadere succede in molti modi. Cinque donne e ciascuna con il proprio punto di vista sul tema. Ogni momento è una proposta, una conseguenza, una storia. Con un tocco di “assurdo” e con humor, Lucky Shots diventa una performance allegra e pazza, raccontata da 5 forti personalità.
A causa delle condizioni di lavoro sul posto la compagnia cerca performer che:
- siano interessate a lavorare in site specific
- siano di mente aperta
- siano capaci di improvvisare in presenza di pubblico
- siano fisicamente forti e abbiano buona resistenza e fitness
- siano preparate per le avverse condizioni naturali (clima e location)
- siano disposte a lunghe giornate se è necessario
- abbiano forte teatralità
- abbiano affinità col teatrodanza visuale di Woest
Prove
- Primo periodo: 5 giorni tra il 3 e l’8 marzo 2018 ad Amiens (Francia)
- Secondo periodo: 2 o 3 giorni tra l 17 e il 21 aprile 2018 a Utrecht (Olanda)
Ampia disponibilità necessaria da maggio a settembre 2018. Si prega di indicare nella propria candidatura la disponibilità in questi mesi. La compagnia prevede di avere repliche di Lucky Shots nella prossima stagione ma anche da aprile a settembre 2018.
E’ necessario essere disponibili in tutti i giorni di prove. E’ un lavoro retribuito.
Saranno accettate solo le candidature di danzatori che vivono in Olanda o in Belgio.
Audizione: 20 gennaio 2018 ad Amsterdam (Olanda) e il 21 gennaio 2018 ad Anversa (Belgio).

Cie. Woest is looking for a replacement for Lucky Shots! Cie. Woest launched Lucky Shots in 2017: a theatrical dance performance on location.
Lucky Shots is a dance performance in which the act of falling happens in many ways. Five women, each with their own view on the theme. Every movement has a purpose, a consequence, a story. With a touch of absurdism and humor, Lucky Shots became acheerful crazy performance told by five strong personalities.
Because of the conditions of working on location we are looking for performers who:
- are interested in working on location
- are open-minded
- are able to improvise with the situation and the audience
- are physically strong and have good stamina / overall fitness
- are prepared for the unpredictable conditions of nature / weather and the location
- are open for possible long days if necessary
- have a strong theatricality
- have affinity with the visual dance theater of Woest
Rehearsal
- period I / 5 days between: March 3-8, Amiens (FR)
- period II / 2 or 3 days between: April 17-21, Utrecht (NL)
Wide availability necessary in the months May till September 2018. Please write in your application for the audition your availability for those months. We expect to perform Lucky Shots as well in the next seasons, always running from April-Sept.
It’s necessary that you are available during all the rehearsal days. It concerns a paid position, project prices.
We are only looking for dancers who live in The Netherlands or Belgium .
Audition: January 20, Amsterdam (NL) and January 21, Antwerp (BE)
