Cie. Woest. Audizione per danzatori e acrobati (Olanda e Belgio)

Cie. Woest è alla ricerca di danzatori e acrobati, sia professionisti che stagisti, con forte base di danza contemporanea per nuova performance.

Questa estate 2016 la Cie. Woest creerà una nuova performance in site specific Lucky Shots, in cui si eplorerà l’idea dell’assenza di gravità. Sarà una ricerca sul fallimento e il raggiungimento di sfide fisiche quasi impossibili. Sarà un processo fisico di sfida, un gioco tra la gravità e il corpo. L’approccio a questo lavoro consiste in molto lavoro di partnering, per questo si cercano danzatori o acrobati forti.

Dopo tre settimane di prove un primo studio sarà presentato allo Spoffin festival alla fine di agosto 2016.
Nella primavera del 2017 Lucky Shots sarà rimontato e verrà presentato in 6 festivals.

A causa delle condizioni particolari della location si cercano performers che:

• hanno interesse a lavorare in location (Site specific)
• siano di mente aperta
• siano fisicamente forti e abbiano buona resistenza e soprattutto fitness
• siano preparati per le condizioni imprevedibili della natura e del clima
• abbiano affinità con il teatrodanza visuale di Woest.

Date audizione: 5 giugno 2016 Amsterdam (Olanda); 6 giugno 2016 Anversa (Belgio). Call-back in forma di workshop il 22 e 23 giugno 2016 ad Anversa o Amsterdam.

Prove: 19, 20, 21 luglio 2016 ad Anversa;  26, 27, 28 luglio 2016 ad Amsterdam; dal 1 al 5 agosto 2016 ad Amersfoort; dal 22 al 26 agosto 2016 ad Amersfoort.

Anteprima 2016: 27 e 28 agosto 2016 ad Amersfoort.

Secondo periodo di prove e montaggio: 2 settimane in aprile e maggio 2017.

Debutto e tournée 2017: prenotati 6 festival in maggio giugno e luglio e altro verrà.

Si deve essere disponibili nelle date indicate.

Nota bene: portare abbigliamento da danza e scarpe per indoor/outdoor visto che si lavorerà in entrambe le situazioni.

Questo lavoro prevede 3 contratti (retribuiti) e uno da stagista.

Cie. Woest Audition

Cie. Woest is looking for dancers and acrobats with a strong contemporary dance base for a new performance: professionals and a stagiaire.

This summer 2016 Cie. Woest will create the new site specific performance Lucky Shots, in which we will research the concept of weightlessness.
It will be a research in failing and achieving almost impossible physical challenges.
It will be a physical challenging process, a game between gravity and the body.
Our approach for this work will consist of lots of partner work, therefore we are looking for physical strong dancers / acrobats who like working on location.
After a three week rehearsal process we will present a first draft at the Spoffin festival in the end of August.
In the spring of 2017 we will remount Lucky Shots and present it at at least 6 festivals.

Because of the special conditions of working on location we are looking for performers who:
• are interested in working on location
• are open – minded
• are physically strong and have good stamina / overall fitness
• are prepared for the unpredictable conditions of nature / weather
• who have affinity with the visual dance theater of Woest.

Audition dates:

• June 5, Amsterdam
• June 6, Antwerp

Call-back in workshop format: June 22 and 23, Antwerp or Amsterdam.

Rehearsal period:
July 19, 20, 21, Antwerp
July 26, 27, 28, Amsterdam
August 1 – 5, Amersfoort
August 22 – 26, Amersfoort

Previews 2016: August 27 and 28, Amersfoort

2nd rehearsal period / montage: 2 weeks in April / May 2017.

Premiere and tour 2017: already 6 festivals booked in May, June and July, more to come.

You need to be able to attend all the rehearsal dates.

Note:  Bring (warm) dance clothes and indoor/outdoor dance shoes with you as we will work both inside and outside.
It concerns 3 paid positions and 1 internship.
