Choreography 33, Concorso Internazionale per Coreografi, si svolgerà a Hannover, in Germania, il 21 e 22 giugno 2019.
Tutti i partecipanti (coreografi e danzatori) devono avere formazione professionale e avere un’età non superiore ai 35 anni. Il concorso è aperto a tutti gli stili e la durata dei pezzi deve essere compresa tra i 5 e 12 minuti. Un assolo non può essere interpretato dal coreografo. Soggetto, stile e musica sono a libera scelta del coreografo.
La giuria concentra il giudizio sull’uso creativo dello spazio e del tempo, sull’interpretazione di un’idea e sulla modalità con cui questa viene sviluppata nella coreografia.

- Delattre Dance Company Award: il vincitore avrà la possibilità di veder rappresentata la sua coreografia in concorso in una produzione della Delattre Dance Company con i danzatori DDC a Mainz, compagnia fondata da Stéphen Delattre nel 2012.
- Borsa di studio Tanja Liedtke Scholarship: in occasione del 30° anniversario del Concorso di Hanover, la Tanja Liedtke Foundation ha donato per la prima volta 3 settimane di borsa di studio presso l‘Australian Dance Theatre a Adelaide, in Australia. Questo premio è assegnato da Garry Stewart, Direttore dell‘Australian Dance Theatre. La borse di studio include spese di viaggio, sistemazione logistica e tutoraggio da parte dell‘ADT.
- Scapino Ballett Rotterdam: Premio di Produzione: al vincitore dello Scapino Production Award viene data la possibilità di creare una coreografia per lo Scapino Ballet di Rotterdam, che verrà portata in scena durante TWOOLS.
- Bundesjugendballett Hamburg: Premio di Produzione: il vincitore di questo premio potrà creare una coreografia per il Bundesjugendballet a Amburgo, compagnia giovanile fondata da John Neumeier nel 2011.

Choreography 33. The International Competition for Choreographers in Hannover
The International Competition for Choreographers Choreography 33 in Hannover takes place on June 21st and 22nd 2019.
In order to take part in the competition, all participants, choreographers, and dancers have to have completed professionaltraining. Choreographers must not be older than 35 years. The length of the performance is limited between 5 and 12 minutes. A solo ballet cannot beinterpreted by the choreographer him/herself. Subject and music are free of choice. These few stipulations enable the contest to be open to all styles of presentation. Judging concentrates only on the creative use of space and time, the interpretation of an idea, and the way this is adopted by the performers.

- Delattre Dance Company Award: The winner will receive the opportunity to present the choreography shown in the competition in a production of the Delattre Dance Company with the dancers of the DDC in Mainz. Artistic Director and Choreographer Stéphen Delattre has founded the DDC in 2012. Stéphen Delattre has received the “Critic’s Prize” at the International Choreographic Competition Hanover in 2010.
- Tanja Liedtke Scholarship: On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International competition for choreographers in Hanover, the Tanja Liedtke Foundation donated for the first time a three week’s scholarship at the Australian Dance Theatre in Adelaide, Australia. This Prize will be awarded by Garry Stewart, Director of The Australian Dance Theatre. The scholarship includes travel costs, accomodation, and ADT tuition.
- Scapino Ballett Rotterdam: Production Award: The winner of the Scapino Production Award is given the opportunity to create a choreography for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, which will be shown during TWOOLS.
- Bundesjugendballett Hamburg: Production Award: The winner of this award isto create a choreography with the “Bundesjugendballet” in Hamburg, which was founded by John Neumeier in 2011 and promotes gifted youths.
