Choreodrome è il programma di ricerca e sviluppo di The Place di Londra rivolto a coreografi con base nel Regno Unito. Durante l’estate The Place invita gli artisti a trascorrere del tempo da loro per accrescere idee o sviluppare nuovi lavori di danza.
La nuova edizione di Choreodrome si svolgerà da lunedì 23 luglio a domenica 23 settembre 2018 al The Place, 17 Duke’s Rd, Kings Cross, Londra

Cosa offrono?
- 1 o 2 settimane di tempo in sala prove
- Commissione di £1000
- Equipe tecnica di supporto per il lavoro (videocamera, proiettori, equipaggiamento sonoro)
- Condivisione della sala e feedback durante ogni residenza
- Ritrovo settimanale all’ora di pranzo con gli altri artisti.

Choreodrome 2018 applications are open for Commissions and Studio Residencies.
Choreodrome is The Place’s research and development programme for UK-based dance makers. Over the summer we invite dance artists to spend time at The Place developing a new dance work. Alongside, we run studio sharings and weekly lunch get-togethers with other artists. We want artists to enjoy taking part in a buzzing community of creation and experiment.
The current edition of Choreodrome takes place from Monday 23 July – Sunday 23 September 2018.

Over summer 2018 we’ll be opening our studios to artists to research ideas or develop new dance works.
What do we offer?
- Between 1-2 weeks of studio time
- Commissions of £1000
- Technical equipment to support studio work (cameras, projectors, sound equipment)
- Studio sharings and feedback sessions during each residency
- Weekly lunchtime get-togethers with other artists
