Between the Seas invita artisti, pensatori, attivisti e studenti di tutto il mondo a sottoporre i loro progetti col tema Borders, Borderlands and Crossings per presentarli presso 1927 space ad Atene nel 2020.
I lavori proposti possono includere anche work in progress, arti visive, nuove drammaturgie e traduzioni; ricerche scolastiche, letture-performance, nuove opere letterarie etc. I progetti selezionati posso essere presentati una volta oppure per una residenza di una settimana. Lo scopo è creare un hub indipendente di scambio internazionale a fianco agli intellettuali e ai praticanti di tutto il mondo, focalizzando l’attenzione tanto sul processo che sul risultato, pensando ad alcune delle questioni più urgenti del nostro mondo da una vasta gamma di punti di vista ed esperienze.
Gli artisti internazionali avranno lo spazio di presentazione e l’alloggio.

Borders, Borderlands, Crossings. Call for projects
Between the Seas invites artists, thinkers, activists and scholars from around the world to submit their projects on the topic of Borders, Borderlands and Crossings to be presented at the 1927 space in Athens in 2020.
Proposed works may include: work in development; visual arts; new plays/translations; scholarly research; lecture-performances; new literary work etc. Selected projects can be submitted either for a one-time presentation or for a week-long residency. Our goal is to create an independent hub of international exchange among thinkers and practitioners around the world, focused on process rather than results, thinking through some of the most pressing issues of our world from a variety of viewpoints and experiences.
