Bando PREMIERE, un programma internazionale per coreografi al loro debutto (Estonia)

PREMIERE è un programma internazionale per neo coreografi al loro debutto, che offre una piattaforma professionale per i giovani coreografi per introdurli nel loro primissimo step creativo.
Nell’ambito del programma gli organizzatori offrono a un massimo di 5 coreografi selezionati 3 giorni di residenza al Pardimäe, due settimane di residenza al Sõtlumatu Tantsu Lava/ STL in Estonia oppure al Gertrudes Ielas Teatris a Riga con il tutoraggio di esperti artisti di danza.
Una opportunità per presentare pubblicamente se stessi e una creazione nel settembre 2018 sul palco del STL. Sulla base del lavoro presentato a settembre 2018 a STL, tra i cinque coreografi ne verranno ulteriormente selezionati due. Questi due coreografi otterranno il supporto di produzione per dare forma alle loro idee, assieme al loro team, durante le residenze in Estonia e all’estero; i nomi verranno annunciati dopo la residenza per lo showcase a settembre.
Le performance debutteranno al STL l’8 febbraio 2019 e in seguito faranno repliche in Estonia e all’estero.
I 5 coreografi scelti saranno parte del programma PREMIERE e saranno impegnati per un anno in un processo di collaborazione transnazionale come incubatore artistico che include:
- 3 giorni di residenza al Pardimäe aiutati da Kaja Kann
- 2 settimane di ricerca al PREMIERE col tutoraggio di artisti di danza esperti come Karl Saks, Ruslan Stepanov, Tiina Mölder, Ajjar Ausma, Kaja Kann, Andrejs Jarovojs
- Una dimostrazione pubblica dopo la residenza con sessioni di discussione tra pubblico e artisti con esperienza
- Una piattaforma mediatica per introdurre se stessi
- I due coreografi selezionati avranno aiuto per completare la loro performance e avranno una seconda residenza di 3 settimane con un mentore per la creazione
- Per i due coreografi selezionati e i loro team un periodo di prove e montaggio in scena con supporto produttivo e tecnico professionale
- Coaching da parte di artisti esperti durante il periodo di produzione
- Debutto in teatro
- Feedback professionali
- Documentazione e registrazione della performance
- Tournée internazionale tra i partners

Open call for PREMIERE, an international program for a choreographic debut (Estonia)
PREMIERE is an international program for a choreographic debut, offering professional platform for young choreographers to introduce their artistic vision at their very first movement based dance performance.
In the framework of the program the organisers offer to maximum five selected choreographers three days long residency at the Pardimäe residency center, two- week long residency at the Sõtlumatu Tantsu Lava/ STL in Estonia or Gertrudes Ielas Teatris in Riga with the experienced dance artists mentorship. An opportunity to present oneself and one’s creation in the public showing in Sept 2018 at the STL stage. The names of the two directors/ choreographers, who will be selected out of fives based on their showing in Sept 2018 at STL, will get the production support to form their ideas together with his/her performance team into dance performance during residencies in Estonia and abroad and will be announced after the residency showcase in September.
Their performances will premiere at the STL on February 8, 2019 and will tour later on in Estonia and abroad.
The 5 choreographers selected to be part of the PREMIERE program will be engaged in a year transnational collaboration process like artistic incubator, which include:
- Three day residency at the Pardimäe coached by Kaja Kann
• Two week of movement based residency at the PREMIERE partner organization mentorshiped by the experienced performing and dance artists like Karl Saks, Ruslan Stepanov, Tiina Mölder, Ajjar Ausma, Kaja Kann, Andrejs Jarovojs
• A public showing after the movement residency with the feedback session by the audience and an experienced artist
• A media platform to introduce itself
• Selected 2 choreographers will get help to complete their performance teams and get a second 3 week long residency with a mentorship to create a dance performance - For 2 selected choreographers with their teams a rehearsal and a montage period at the stage with a professional technical support and a producer
• Coaching during the production period by experienced artists
• Premiere at theatre stage
• Professional feedback in a public media
• Documentation and recording of the performances
• International tour in partners stages
• Funding for a production period
