Bando del Teatro Libero di Palermo per il Festival internazionale Presente Futuro 2020

Sono aperte le selezioni per la 15esima edizione del festival internazionale Presente Futuro che si terrà il 14, 15 e 16 maggio 2020.
Il festival, organizzato dal Teatro Libero di Palermo, include diversi premi rivolti alla giovane creazione contemporanea nell’ambito delle arti performative della scena (teatro, danza, teatro-danza, circo e performance), ponendosi come momento di visibilità e promozione della scena emergente europea. Il festival intende inoltre sostenere e accompagnare la creazione contemporanea attraverso connessioni internazionali, sostegno alla produzione, residenze e confronto con pubblici e operatori del settore di diversi paesi.
Il bando, consultabile al seguente link PF2020_Bando, è rivolto ad artisti, compagnie e gruppi di tutto il territorio europeo – con prevalenza di artisti under 35 – che presenteranno un progetto di performing arts della durata non inferiore ai 20 minuti. L’ammissione è a giudizio insindacabile della direzione del Teatro Libero che selezionerà sulla base della coerenza del progetto rispetto agli obiettivi del Festival.
Diversi i premi previsti: il primo premio, Presente Futuro Prize, consiste in un gettone di 2.000€, una settimana di residenza e la presentazione della creazione completa all’interno della stagione 2020/2021 del Teatro Libero o in seno alla 16^ edizione del Festival Presente Futuro nel 2021. Verranno inoltre assegnati altri premi che favoriranno il sostegno alla creazione artistica tra cui diverse residenze internazionali tra cui quella offerta dal festival Between The Seas (Grecia) e dal Teatro San Materno di Ascona (Svizzera) o premi in denaro, erogati dal dipartimento di Storia dell’Arte e Spettacolo dell’Università La Sapienza di Roma e dal COBAS Scuola di Palermo.
Per l’iscrizione al bando di selezione è necessario inviare entro e non oltre il 31 gennaio 2020, alle ore 12.00, a mezzo mail all’indirizzo di posta elettronica: bandi@teatroliberopalermo.it, una mail avente come oggetto: “PF2020 Bando”, contenente la seguente la documentazione debitamente compilata:
- Scheda d’iscrizione al bando (PF20_Allegato A). L’allegato ha valore di autorizzazione al trattamento dei dati personali e sottoscrizione di ogni articolo del presente regolamento;
- Scheda dati della compagnie e dei suoi componenti (PF20_Allegato B),
- Condizioni di partecipazione al Festival (PF20_Allegato C),
- Scheda tecnica (PF20_AllegatoD).
Si prega di allegare inoltre i seguenti materiali:
- Foto della creazione (di cui almeno 2 a buona risoluzione per la stampa),
- Link al video integrale del progetto, (non si accettanno video inviati tramite Wetransfer, Google drive né su supporto DVD)
- Curriculum della compagnia (in formato word)
- Documento attestante i dati fiscali della società/compagnia che stipulerà l’accordo formale con il Teatro.

PRESENTE FUTURO 2020. Young Contemporary Performing Arts Festival and Prize
It is officially open the call of the 15th edition of the International Festival Presente Futuro, which will take placefrom the 14th to the 16th of May 2020.
The festival, organized by Teatro Libero of Palermo, includes several awards directed to the young contemporary creation in the field of the performing arts (theatre, dance, dance theatre, physical theatre, performance), aiming at showing and promoting the emerging European scene. It wants to support the contemporary creation through international connections, production support, recidencies and the comparison with different realities and people coming from different countries.
The call, which you can find here PF2020_Call, is directed to artists, companies and team coming from UE and preferably under35 that will propose a project of performing arts not shorter the 20 minutes.
The admission will be decided by the artistic direction of Teatro Libero according to the quality and the coherence of the project in relation to the goals of the Festival.
The Festival will be full of workshops, meetings, exchanges and Presente Futuro Prize, a money prize with a recidency and the chance, for the winning company, to show the long version of the project over the 2020/2021 Season of Teatro Libero or during Presente Futuro Festival 2021. Other awards will be assigned, such as the international residencies offered by the festival Between The Seas (Greece) and San Materno Theatre in Ascona (Switzerland) or money prizes in order to support the artistic creation and provided by the History of Art and Theatre department of La Sapienza University of Rome and by COBAS Scuola of Palermo.
The deadline for submissions is the 31st of January 2020 at 12.00 am. Everyone who wants to take part in the selection must send an email to: bandi@teatroliberopalermo.it indicating in the object “PF2020 Bando” with the following documents:
- PF20_Enclosure A_ENG(application form) duly completed in all its parts,
- PF20_Enclosure B_ENG(company data form),
- PF20_Enclosure C_ENG(terms of participation),
- PF20_Enclosure D_ENG(technical rider),
- HD pictures of the projects (at leats 2 for the press),
- Link of the full video of the project, there won’t be accepted video sent through Wetransfer/Google Drive nor DVD,
- Document attesting the tax data of the company/society, which will sign the formal agreement with the Theatre
- Curriculum of the company.
