Per celebrare l’arte coreografica in assolo e duetto, creando delle possibilità sia per coreografi emergenti che rinomati, WHITE WAVE 2018 SoloDuo Dance Festival si terrà al Diixon Place di New York. il 24 e il 25 giugno 2018, nel cuore di Downtown, situato tra Lower East Side e l’East Village. Questo spazio ispira moti artisti della performing art e invita a estendere i limiti della propria creatività verso nuove sfide. Il Dixon Place tra le sue priorità ha quella di servire come rete di salvataggio per gli artisti e fornire un’esperienza vivida al pubblico mostrando una visione intima come un assolo e un duo.

La scadenza per candidarsi è fissata al 28 febbraio 2018.
Tassa iscrizione: fino al 15 febbraio alle ore 23:30 $60; tassa regolare entro il 28 febbraio alle 23:30 $75.
I duetti devono durare 8 minuti o di meno (tutto incluso). Gli assoli devono durare 6 minuti o di meno (tutto incluso). Non verrà fatta alcuna eccezione.
Ogni coreografo/compagnia può candidare due lavori per il SoloDuo Festival 2018 (ma la candidatura va fatta separata e per ciascun pezzo è necessario il formulario, il video e la tassa di iscrizione). Tale tassa non verrà rimborsata.
Tutte le candidature ricevute verranno valutate da giudici imparziali. Se il vostro lavoro verrà selezionato riceverete la notifica entro il 30 marzo 2018 via mail.

To celebrate the special art of the solo and duet, while creating additional opportunities to display the latest work of both emerging and renowned choreographers, WHITE WAVE’s 2018 SoloDuo Dance Festival (June 24th & 25th) will be held at the Dixon Place, a setting nestled in the heart of the Downtown scene, located at the junction of the Lower East Side and East Village. This space inspires performing artists of all stripes and callings to stretch the limits of their creativity and take it to new heights. Dixon Place’s foremost priorities, to serve as a safety net for artists, and to provide vivid experiences for audiences, make it a one-of-a kind venue to showcase an intimate solo or duet.

The Application Deadline is February 28, 2018 (Early Bird Special: February 15, 2018).
Application fee:
- Early Bird Application Fee of $60 (by February 15th, 11:30pm)
- Regular Application Fee of $75 (by February 28th, 11:30pm)
Duets must be 8 minutes or less (including set-up and strike).
Solos must be 6 minutes or less (including set-up and strike).

Each choreographer/company may submit up to two applications for 2018 SoloDuo Festival (each application requires a separate application form, video, and application fee). The fee is non-refundable.
All applications will be reviewed by a panel of impartial adjudicators. If your work is selected, you will be notified by e-mail by March 30th, 2018.
