13Festivalen è stato fondato nel 2015 da Anna Carlson e Jill Lindstrom come tentativo di creare una piattaforma e dar vita a uno luogo di performance con uno sguardo allargato. Un luogo scenico in cui si incrociano generi e dove artisti visivi, musicisti, sound artist, attori, danzatori, possono incontrarsi. Sia artisti conclamati che studenti sono benvenuti a esibirsi al 13festivalen che si terrà al Konstepidemin di Göteborg, in Svezia.
Per candidarsi descrivere brevemente la propria idea, indicare la preferenza per il luogo (si prega di guardare la mappa e verificare gli spazi disponibili) e indicare approssimativamente la durata della performance.
Tutti i partecipanti riceveranno la documentazione del loro lavoro e ricevono un piccolo onorario per coprire i materiali e le spese (l’ammontare dell’onorario dipende dall’importo del finanziamento in attesa). Sarà fornito il vitto per tutta la durata del festival e gli artisti invitati avranno libero accesso ai seminari e a uno dei due workshop. C’è una budget limitato per il viaggio e l’alloggio per gli artisti che non vivono a Göteborg.

Open Call: 13 festivalen Sökes | Konstepidemin (Sweden)
13Festivalen was founded in 2015 by Anna Carlson and Jill Lindstrom as an attempt to create a platform and a venue for performance art in an enlarged view. A cross scene where both visual artists, musicians, sound artists, actors, dancers etc. can meet. An expression that can be seen as performative is what ties them all together. Both established artists and students are welcome to perform.13festivalen takes place at Konstepidemin in Gothenburg.
To apply, briefly describe your idea, location preferences (look at map and overview of available spaces) and approximate length of your performance.
All participants get their work documented and receive a small fee to cover materials (the size of the fee will depend on pending funding). Free food will be provided for the duration of the festival and participating artists will have free access to the seminars and to one of the two workshops. There is a limited budget for travel and accommodation for artists who do not live in Gothenburg.
