L’artista e coreografo Zwoisy Mears-Clarke cerca danzatori/performers per il suo futuro progetto che debutterà al Sophiensaele nell’ambito del Tanztage Berlin Festival 2018. Si cercano 3 ballerini professionisti tra i 20 ai 65 anni che siano visivamente disabili o ciechi (per integrare ad altri 2 ballerini).

Quando:
- periodo delle prove dal 15 novembre al 20 dicembre 2017
- Performances: dal 2 al 15 gennaio 2018

Requisiti:
- aver voglia di fare performance della durata di 3 ore e oltre.
- avere la capacità di mantenere a lungo una forte presenza e radicalità nel corpo anche durante l’esecuzione di movimenti minimi
- essere a proprio agio nel contact/touch
- essere a proprio agio lavorando nell’improvvisazione
- essere a proprio agio col testo
- avere base preferibilmente a Berlino oppure nell’area di Schengen
- disponibili per le prove a Berlino nel periodo 10 novembre- 20 dicembre 2017
- disponibile per il periodo degli spettacoli a Berlino dal 2 al 17 gennaio 2018

The artist and choreographer Zwoisy Mears-Clarke is seeking dancers/performers to the apply for his future project that will premiere at Sophiensaele in the Tanztage Berlin Festival 2018. He is seeking 3 professional dancers/performers from age 20 to 65 that are visually disabled or blind (to join 2 sighted dancers).
Where: Berlin, Germany
When
- Rehearsal period: November 15 to December 20, 2017
- Performance: January 2 -January 15, 2018
Deadline for applications: September 29, 2017 at midnight.
You must be:
- willing to perform durationally, i.e. for 3 hours.
- ability to hold a strong presence and groundedness in the body over a long duration while performing minimal movement
- comfortable working with touch
- comfortable working with improvisation
- comfortable performing text
- based in Berlin preferably but if not, in the Schengen area
- available for the rehearsal period in Berlin November 10 – December 20, 2017
- available for the performance period in Berlin January 2 – 17, 2018
