La Wee Dance Company del Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau cerca danzatori uomini e donne per la stagione 2021-2022 (con inizio il 2 settembre 2021).
Si cercano danzatori e danzatrici contemporanei con forte tecnica e abilità nell’improvvisazione per l’imminente stagione.
L’audizione è solo su invito (i posti sono limitati) e si svolgerà nei giorni 4, 5, 6, 7, o 8 luglio 2021 a Görlitz, in Germania, presso il GHT Görlitz-Zittau, in Demianiplatz 2.

Il GHT è un teatro cittadino di piccole dimensioni con un piccolo budget. Lo stipendio parte da 2000 euro al mese pre tax.
Alla mattina non viene data la classe di training di balletto. La compagnia dà sessioni di ricerca contemporanea: entrare in questa compagnia significa impegnarsi in questo. Se la lezione di danza classica quotidiana è importante per voi, non sarete felici in questa compagnia.
Il focus della compagnia è il linguaggio coreografico. Talvolta si utilizzano anche altri mezzi (improvvisazione, testo), ma la cosa più importante è che vogliate lavorare per mezzo della coreografia.
Spesso si usano precisi conti musicali. Si richiede quindi l’abilità di assegnare i conteggi ai movimenti poiché sentire il “feeling” con la musica non è sufficiente.
Inoltre è richiesta la capacità ad imparare il materiale coreografico dato. E’ importante che vi piaccia e che sappiate arricchire l’approccio di apprendimento del materiale coreografico altrui.
Lavorare qualche volta significa stress: in poco tempo produrre tanto. Se lo stress non fa per voi allora lavorare con questa compagnia non fa per voi. E’ importante affrontare lo stress con piglio positivo come elemento di stimolo e arricchimento.
Oltre ai pezzi di danza si è obbligati a partecipare ad opere e musical. Queste altre produzioni sono importanti quanto quelle di danza.

The Wee Dance Company of the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau is looking for male and female dancers for the season 2021-2022 (starting: 2nd of September 2021).
We are looking for contemporary dancers with strong technique & improvisational skills for upcoming season.
Audition:
When: July 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th 2021.

The GHT is a small city theater with small budgets. Salary begins at 2000€ per month pre tax.
We don’t conduct ballet training in the morning, if ballet class is important for you, you’d be unhappy with us. We conduct a contemporary research session: joining the company means committing yourself to this. If a ballet class is important to you, you’d be unhappy with us.
Our central artistic medium is choreographed dance. We sometimes use other tools too (i.e. improv, text) but it’s important that you can enjoy working mainly whith choreographed dance.
You would need to enjoy the skill of consciously assigning movements to precise musical counts, at times counter intuitively. Relying on merely “feeling” the music does not suffice.
In addition to input from our dancers, we require the ability to learn given choreographic material. It is important that you approach learning material created by others as enriching & enjoyable.
Work here sometimes means stress: a lot must be accomplished in little time. If stress makes you unhappy, working here will make you unhappy. It is important that you can approach stress with a positive attitude as an exciting, enriching element.
In addition to dance pieces, we are obligated to participate in some of the opera, musical productions. We consider this work as important as dance pieces.
