Il coreografo e regista danese Troels Primdahl, con base a Berlino, cerca danzatori di diversi stili da integrare nella nuova creazione in site-specific dal titolo My Icarus Complex. Il pezzo debutterà il 19 agosto 2017 in un vecchio hangar situato nel mezzo di una base militare aerea nella Penisola di Djursland in Danimarca come parte del programma ufficiale di Aarhus 2017 – Capitale Europea della Cultura.
Tutti i candidati prima di tutto devono avere una forte caratterizzazione e esperienza professionale. Avere una base a Berlino è un vantaggio ma non è obbligatorio; inoltre i danzatori devono avere senso della precisione e attenzione ai dettagli, capacità nell’improvvisazione e saper creare materiale.
Tutti i candidati selezionati avranno un contratto con retribuzione.
Dove: 6 settimane di prove si terranno a Sostrup Castle (Danimarca) in collaborazione col resto dell’ensemble interdisciplinare di Troels Primdahl. Il luogo della performance, l’hangar, è situato vicino all’aeroporto di Aarhus Airport, a Kolind, in Danimarca.
Quando: Fase 1: dal 12 giugno al 3 luglio 2017. Fase 2: dal 25 luglio al 21 agosto 2017.

Troels Primdahl Audition
The Berlin-based Danish director & choreographer Troels Primdahl is searching for dancers from multiple dance styles to join a new site-specific creation My Icarus Complex. The piece will premiere on 19th of August 2017 in an old hangar located in the middle of a former military airbase on Djursland Peninsula (Denmark) as a part of the official programme of the Aarhus 2017 – European Capital of Culture.
All candidates should first of all be strong characters with professional performance experience. Berlin-based dancers have an advantage (this is not a must), but so have dancers with a distinctive sense of precision and attention to details, and skills in improvisation as well as creating set material.
NB! All selected dancers will enter into a paid contract.
Where: Six weeks of rehearsals will take place at Sostrup Castle (Denmark) in collaboration with the rest of Troels Primdahl’s interdisciplinary ensemble. The performance venue, the hangar, is located close to Aarhus Airport, Kolind, Denmark.
When: Phase one: 12th June – 3rd July. Phase two: 25th July – 21st August.
