Sweetshop Revolution cerca un danzatore e due danzatrici contemporanei da inserire nel cast esistente di tre danzatori nel suo nuovo show. Il nuovo lavoro riguarda l’amore e la sessualità e nel video seguente si può visionare qualche footage della fase iniziale di ricerca:
Si cercano danzatori tecnicamente forti con buona capacità nel contact e grande personalità, che siano di mente aperta, amino rischiare e siano abili a lavorare sulle proprie esperienze.
L’audizione è solo su invito e si terrà il 10 e 11 giugno 2017 al Greenwich Dance di Londra; è essenziale partecipare a entrambi i giorni di audizione, a meno che Sally Marie non vi conosca personalmente.
Per candidarsi mandare entro il 19 maggio 2017 due foto, inclusa foto ritratto e una a figura intera, e un recente breve video in cui danzate (non deve essere uno showreel) a Sally Marie sallymarie_8@yahoo.co.uk. I candidati selezionati riceveranno l’invito entro il 22 maggio 2017.
Ci sarà un periodo di 6 giorni di ricerca con la compagnia dal 19 al 24 giugno 2017; si prega di non candidarsi se non si è liberi in questi giorni fissi.
Le prove saranno full-time approssimativamente dal 20 novembre 2017 al 16 febbraio 2018 con tournée nazionale da febbraio ai primi di maggio 2018.
Retribuzione prove nella fase di ricerca: £500 alla settimana.
Retribuzione durante la creazione: £550-£650/alla settimana, in relazione all’esperienza e incluse le ferie pagate.
Retribuzione spettacoli: al di sopra del ‘minimo Equity’, inclusa sistemazione e viaggi, diaria e ferie pagate.

Sweetshop Revolution
Sweetshop Revolution is seeking one male and two female contemporary dancers for their new show to join an existing cast of three dancers. The new work is looking at love and sexuality, and you can view some of the footage here from our initial R&D:
We are seeking technically strong dancers with good contact skills and strong personalities, who are open-minded, enjoy taking artistic risks and are able to draw on their own experiences.
When (by invite only): 10 & 11 June; it is essential to attend both days of the audition, unless Sally Marie knows you personally.
Where: Greenwich Dance, London.
Deadline for applications: 19th May. You’ll receive an invite if invited by 22nd May.

There will be a six-day research period with the company on June 19th-24th; please do apply even if you are not available for these dates.
Rehearsals will be on a full-time basis from approximately 20th November 2017 – 16th February 2018, with a nationwide tour running from February 16th – early May 2018.
Rehearsal fee during the R&D: £500 per week.
Rehearsal fee during the making: £550-£650/week, dependent on experience and inclusive of paid holidays.
Performance fee: above Equity minimum, including accommodation and travel, per diems and holiday pay.
