Springs Dance Company cerca una ballerina e uno o due ballerini con qualità eccezionali nella danza contemporanea, con una formazione professionale nel suono ed esperienza nella performance per due diversi progetti tra il 2018 e il 2019.
L’audizione si terrà a Lee, nel Sud Est di Londra il 28 agosto 2018.
Journey of the Magi
Inspirato alla poesia di T S Eliot, Journey of the Magi è un evento festoso, spensierato, gioioso con un messaggio commovente e profondo. Destinato alle famiglie, lo spettacolo è per tutte le età e girerà in chiese, scuole e luoghi di ritrovo in tutto il Regno Unito. Le posizioni vacanti sono per un ballerino e una ballerina cover. Questo spettacolo richiede un lavoro vario e una tecnica contemporanea forte.
Bread of Life
Bread of Life è una produzione molto commovente coreografata da Suzannah McCreight. Tratta di comunione e comunità ed è uno spettacolo a serata intera composto da assoli, duetti e lavori di gruppo che si alternano. Lo spettacolo girerà in chiese e luoghi di comunità in tutto il Regno Unito. La posizione è vacante per un ballerino con esperienza nei lift.
Springs Dance Company sta cercando danzatori, per entrambi i progetti, che:
- abbiano completato interamente la formazione professionale
- siano veloci nell’apprendere il materiale
- abbiano capacità eccellente nella performance
- siano impegnati sia nella ricerca che nelle prove nell’adempimento del ruolo richiesto
- abbiano voglia di compiere una tournée nazionale
- siano simpatetici con l’ethos cristiano della Compagnia.
Entrambi gli spettacoli esprimono e comunicano credenze e valori cristiani contemporanei e quindi la conoscenza e la comprensione di questi saranno un vantaggio.

Springs Dance Company Audition
Springs Dance Company is looking for one female and one or two male dancers with outstanding ability in contemporary dance, sound professional training and substantial performance experience for two different projects in 2018 and 2019.

Journey of the Magi
Inspired by T S Eliot’s poem, Journey of the Magi is a festive, light-hearted, joyful event with a moving and profound message. Aimed at families, the show attracts all ages and tours to churches, schools and community venues across the UK. Positions are vacant for a male dancer and a female dancer/cover dancer. This show requires varied character work and strong contemporary technique.
Bread of Life
Bread of Life is a deeply moving production of movement, story and music choreographed by Suzannah McCreight. About communion and community, it is a full-length show made up of solos, duets and group work, all set and performed in the round. The show tours to churches and community venues across the UK. A position is vacant for a strong male dancer, who must be experienced in lifting.
Springs Dance Company are looking for dancers for both projects who:
- Have completed full-time professional dance training
- Are quick at picking up material
- Have excellent performance skills
- Will be committed both in research and in rehearsal to fulfil the role required
- Are willing to tour nationally
- Are sympathetic to the Company’s Christian ethos
Both shows express and communicate contemporary Christian beliefs and values and therefore knowledge and understanding of these will be an advantage.
Springs delivers an extensive education programme and the company is also looking for dancers that may be interested in teaching. Please include teaching experience in your application if relevant.
