Rosie Kay Dance Company cerca una danzatrice e due danzatori per MK ULTRA. Età compresa tra i 17 e i 28 anni. Il progetto verrà ripreso e riprovato prima della tournée nei teatri nazionali del Regno Unito.

I danzatori devono avere le seguenti qualità:

• MK ULTRA riguarda le stelle del pop e la fama che deforma la performance. Si cercano interpreti che possano brillare, molto veloci nell’apprendimento, con buona memoria per assimilare del materiale complesso, con forte tecnica contemporanea, forza e forma eccellente.
• Diversi performer con interesse, unicità, look bizzarro e grande confidenza con il palcoscenico. Capacità attoriale, attitudine positiva, gran lavoratori e volontà nel contribuire ad una sana e divertente atmosfera in compagnia.

I candidati devono essere disponibili per tutte le seguenti date:

Prove e debutto a Birmingham 20 – 31 agosto 2018 e 10-22 settembre 2018. In relazione a dove risiedete forse è necessario viaggiare da/per Birmingham il 19 agosto e il 9 settembre.

Settimane di tournée (inclusi i giorni di viaggio):

27 settembre – 3 ottobre 2018
15 – 17 ottobre 2018 (una parte della settimana)
22 – 27 ottobre 2018
4 – 11 novembre 2018

Trattamento economico secondo Equity/ITC Ethical Manager: £471 alla settimana per le prove, £500 alla settimana per gli spettacoli + feste pagate + spese di viaggio coperte e alloggio + diaria durante le tournée.

• Donne – primo round: 21 giugno 2018, dalle 10:00 alle 17:30 presso The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre, Aston University, Aston Triangle, Birmingham B4 7ET
• Uomini – primo round: 22 giugno 2018, dalle 10:00 alle 17:30 presso Birmingham Hippodrome, Thorp Street, Birmingham B5 4TB
• Recall uomini e donne: venerdì 29 giugno 2018, dalle 10:00 alle 17:30 presso DanceXchange, Thorp Street, Birmingham B5 4TB

L’audizione comprenderà una sessione di Fitness e una classe tecnica + apprendimento del repertorio + sessione di improvvisazione. Rosie Kay Dance Company Audition (UK)

RKDC seeks one female and two male dancers for MK ULTRA. RKDC seeks male and female dancers with a playing age of 17-28 to perform in MK ULTRA. The project will rehearse and rework MK ULTRA before touring to theatres in the UK.

Dancers need these qualities:

• MK ULTRA is about pop stars and fame and deconstructs performance – we’re looking for stars who can shine, Very fast at learning, Good memory for complex material, Strong contemporary technique, excellent strength and fitness.
• Diverse performers with interesting/unique/quirky looks and strong confidence. Positive attitude, hard working and willing to contribute to a healthy, fun touring company atmosphere, Good acting ability.

Applicants need to be available for all of these dates:

Rehearsals and premiere in Birmingham 20 – 31 August and 10-22 September. Depending on your home location you may need to travel to Birmingham on 19 August and 9 September.

Tour weeks (including travel days):

27 September – 3 October
15 – 17 October (part-week)
22 – 27 October
4 – 11 November

Equity/ITC Ethical Manager Contract: £471 pw for rehearsals, £500 pw for performance plus holiday pay, all travel and accommodation plus touring per diem.

Audition will comprise of: Fitness session and technique class. Learning repertoire
Improvisation section. Please note we cannot cover costs to attend the audition. We cannot offer an alternative date or online audition.
