RDC – Rutherford Dance Company, è alla ricerca di ballerini contemporanei da inserire nella compagnia per la realizzazione del loro nuovo lavoro Never Going Home Again. Il direttore artistico e coreografo Adam Rutherford terrà un’audizione per danzatori e danzatrici versatili con una forte tecnica classica e contemporanea e capacità di improvvisazione venerdì 27 febbraio 2015.
Adam Rutherford è un coreografo e performer con sede nel West Midlands. La compagnia necessita di 2-3 interpreti per il loro nuovo lavoro, che si concentra sulle problematiche legate alla sessualità e all’identità.
L’audizione si svolgerà il 27 febbraio 2015 dalla ore 10.00 alle 16:00a ACE Dance and Music Studio, The Link Dance Space, Piano Terra, 54-57 Floodgate Street, Birmingham, B5 5SL.
I danzatori devono essere disponibili per tutte le seguenti date a Birmingham:
- creazione: 2-6 marzo / 9-13 marzo / 16-20 marzo;
- debutto : 20-24 aprile;
- repliche: venerdì 26 aprile, lunedì 27 aprile, mercoledì 20 maggio, sabato o domenica 23/24 maggio (date da confermare)
Questo progetto ha ricevuto un finanziamento Arts Council England e l’ingaggio è pagato. I neodiplomati sono benvenuti.
L’audizione è su invito. Per partecipare all’audizione è necessario inviare entro il 20 febbraio 2015 alla mail info@rutherforddance.com, curriculum vitae, foto recenti e un breve video clip. I candidati invitati all’audizione riceveranno una notifica il 23 febbraio 2015.

RDC (Rutherford Dance Company) Audition. Deadline: 20 Feb 2015
RDC (Rutherford Dance Company) are seeking contemporary dancers to join the company for the creation of their new work Never Going Home Again. Choreographer/Artistic Director Adam Rutherford will be auditioning for versatile female and male dancers with strong ballet and contemporary technique and improvisational skills on Friday 27th February 2015.
Adam Rutherford is a choreographer and performer based in the West Midlands. He has been commissioned to choreograph works for internationally renowned companies and organisations both nationally and internationally. The company require 2-3 dance artists for their new work which will focus on celebrating diversity positively with a particular focus of responding to issues around sexuality and identity.
The audition is on 27th February 2015at ACE Dance and Music Studio, The Link Dance Space, The Ground Floor, 54 – 57 Floodgate Street, Birmingham, B5 5SL. Time: 10:00 – 16:00
Dancers must be available for all dates (Birmingham):
- R&D: March 2nd – 6th
- Creation: March 9th – 13th, March 16th – 20th
- Production: April 20th – 24th
- Performances: Friday 26th April, Monday 27th April, Wednesday 20th May, Saturday or Sunday 23rd/24th May (TBC). Tour dates may be added and discussed with the company.
This project has received Arts Council England funding and the positions are paid. Expressions of interest from recent graduates are welcome.
