To the Pointe Ballet Productions cerca danzatori classici e breakdancer per la stagione 2015/2016. To the Pointe cerca un danzatore classico per il ruolo principale del Principe, una ballerina classica per il ruolo principale di Clara e di Cenerentola per i balletti Clara`s Magical Dream World e A Cinderella Story, un danzatore breakdancer per il ruolo del soldato in Clara`s Magical Dream World e per altri ruoli.
L’audizione si svolgerà il 22 febbraio 2015 dalle ore 12.00 alle 20.00 presso la Norwegian Ballet School (DNBS), sita in Grenseveien 32, a Oslo, in Norvegia. L’audizione include una lezione di danza classica (solo per i ballerini classici, donne sulle punte), repertorio, improvvisazione e interviste. L’audizione è solo su invito.
I candidati devono avere un’età compresa fra I 18 e I 25 anni, avere una solida base classica o di breakdance.

Le prove e il tour di Clara`s Magical Dream World si svolgeranno tra novembre e dicembre 2015. Le prove si svolgeranno presso il DNBS a Oslo. La compagnia effettuerà un tour negli ospedali per bambini nel distretto di Oslo, Akershus, Hordaland, Sør- Trøndelag e Buskerud in Norvegia.Si effettueranno spettacoli presso Hol Kulturkyrkje in collaborazione con Hol Culture School. Si sta anche organizzando il tour con il Cultural Rucksack (DKS) per il balletto A Cinderella Story nel periodo gennaio-marzo 2016.
Clara`s Magical Dream World è una nuova produzione della compagnia. La storia è tratta da Lo Schiaccianoci. A Cinderella Story è un balletto avventuroso e magico per i bambini, coreografato da Benedicte Marie Bjerke. Il balletto enfatizza coraggio, speranza, sogno e amore.
To the Pointe Ballet Productions è l’unica compagnia di danza classica norvegese formata da danzatori professionisti di età compresa fra i 18 e i 25 anni. Obiettivo della compagnia dare a giovani danzatori un luogo di lavoro, esperienza nel lavoro e portare alle arti e al balletto un nuovo pubblico. Si offrono contratti a progetto. La compagnia è guidata da Benedicte Marie Bjerke.

To the Pointe Ballet Productions is looking for ballet dancers and a breakdancer for the season 2015/2016. To the Pointe is looking for one male ballet dancer for the leading role as the Prince, one female ballet dancer for the leading role as Clara and Cinderella in Clara`s Magical Dream World and A Cinderella Story, one male breakdancer as the Soldier in Clara´s Magical Dream World and understudies for varies roles.
Audition is held 22nd February 12:00 – 20:00, at the Norwegian Ballet School (DNBS), in Grenseveien 32. A, Oslo, Norway. The audition includes a ballet class (only for ballet dancers, women on pointe), repertoire, improvisation as well as an interview with the panel. The audition is by invite only.
Please note that the applicants have to be in between 18 – 25 year old, have a strong classical/ breakdance technique. The application must contain a CV/ résumé, portrait and body shot, and a video link if available. Please send the application to tothepointebp@outlook.com. All the rehearsals as well as the performing tour for Clara`s Magical Dream World will be in the period of November – December 2015. Rehearsals will be held at DNBS in Oslo. The company will tour to children´s hospitals in the districts around Oslo, Akershus, Hordaland, Sør- Trøndelag and Buskerud in Norway. We will also perform at Hol Kulturkyrkje in collaboration with Hol Culture School. We are in addition in the process of planning a tour with the Cultural Rucksack (DKS) for the ballet A Cinderella Story in the period of January- March 2016.
Clara`s Magical Dream World is a new production for the company. The story is based on the history of the Nutcracker. The ballet A Cinderella Story is an adventurous and magical ballet for young children, choreographed by Benedicte Marie Bjerke. The ballet emphasizes courage, hope, dreams and love.
About To the Pointe Ballet Productions – To the Pointe is Norway´s only project based ballet company for professional dancers at the age 18 – 25. The company´s goal is to give young dancers a workplace, work experience, and bring the art of ballet and dance to new audiences and venues. We can offer you a project-based contract. The company is lead by Benedicte Marie Bjerke. We are collaborating with the Asthma and Allergy Association, the Foundation “Sykehusbarn” and the Norwegian Ballet School.
