La City of London Corporation, Culture Mile e il City Centre cercano performer che prendano parte a bodies in urban spaces; un percorso coreografato per un gruppo di danzatori che si svolge nelle strade di Square Mile (Londra) il 14 giugno 2019.
I performers conducono gli spettatori attraverso parti selezionati di spazi pubblici con una serie di veloci invenzioni fisiche che esistono solo temporaneamente; permettendo allo spettatore di percepire lo stesso spazio o posto in un modo nuovo e diverso.
La Cie. Willi Dorner cerca performer con background di danza o teatro fisico o circo o parkour oltre a forte capacità nel partnering e nel contact. I performer parteciperanno a una classe di 3 ore di danza contemporanea focalizzata sul balance, la flessibilità e la resistenza (età dai 18 anni in su).
L’audizione si terrà il 17 gennaio 2019, dalle 14:00 alle 17:00 presso lo Studio 1, London Rehearsal Space, Templeton House 33-34 Chiswell St, Londra
Scadenza candidature: 11 gennaio 2019
Bisogna essere liberi nelle seguenti date:
- prove da sabato 8 a giovedì 13 giugno 2019 (giorno di risposo martedì 11)
- performance venerdì 14 giugno 2019.
Gli artisti selezionati riceveranno un cachet di £483 per l’intero progetto.

The City of London Corporation, Culture Mile and the City Centre are looking for performers to be part of bodies in urban spaces; a moving trail choreographed for a group of dancers which will take place on the streets of the Square Mile.

Deadline for applications: 11 January 2019
The performers lead the audience through selected parts of public and semi-public spaces with a chain of physical interventions set up very quickly and only existing temporarily; allowing the viewer to perceive the same space or place in a new and different way – on the run.
Cie. Willi Dorner is searching for performers with a dance, physical theatre, circus or parkour background with strong partnering and contact skills. Performers will take part in a 3-hour contemporary dance class focusing on balance, flexibility and strength (aged 18 +).
Audition information: Thursday 17 Jan 2019, 2 – 5pm, Studio 1, London Rehearsal Space, Templeton House 33-34 Chiswell St, London EC1Y 4SF
Performers will need to be available on the following dates:
Rehearsals: Saturday 8 to Thursday 13 June 2019 (day off on Tuesday 11 June)
Performance: Friday 14 June 2019
Successful performers will be paid £483 for the whole project.
