Il Northern Ballet è una delle maggiori compagnie nel Regno Unito e quella che svolge le più vaste tournée sul territorio nazionale. Innovativo nel suo approccio il Northern Ballet è prolifico nella creazione di lavori a serata intera con un mix unico tra una forte tecnica classica e narrazione; il repertorio abbraccia la cultura popolare e spinge oltre i confini di ciò che le storie possono essere raccontate attraverso la danza.

Audizione compagnia Northern Ballet
Si cercano ballerini e ballerine di mente aperta, creativi e con forte tecnica classica, oltre ad eccezionale capacità nel partnering e ottima resistenza.
L’audizione è solo su invito e si terrà a Leeds il 28 gennaio 2018.
Per candidarsi è necessario inviare entro il 15 gennaio 2018 a auditions@northernballet.com oppure via posta a Kirsty Airlie, Northern Ballet, Leeds LS2 7PA:
- un dettagliato curriculum vitae (includendo altezza, peso, data di nascita e nazionalità),
- una recente foto di danza classica a figura intera
- un DVD (oppure link a YouTube/Vimeo) di lavoro al centro in calzamaglia (le donne sulle punte), che mostri una lunga combinazione che comprenda adagio, pirouettes, piccoli e grandi salti il tutto sia a destra che a sinistra, e (eventuale non obbligatoria) un assolo contemporaneo (per favore NO costumi).

Northern Ballet company auditions
Northern Ballet tours the UK and overseas extensively. Our repertoire is a varies and imaginative mix of classical and narrative ballets.
We are looking for male and female dancers
You should be open-minded, creative and imaginative with strong classical technique, exceptional partnering skills and strength.
Closed audition, by invitation only, will be held in Leeds on Sunday 28 January 2018.
Please submit a full CV (which must include height, weight, date of birth and nationality), recent full-length classical dance photos and DVD (or YouTube/Vimeo link) of centre class work in leotard/tights (ladies on pointe), showing long combinations both sides of adage, pirouettes, small and large jumps, a travelling combination and optional contemporary solo (no costumes please) by Monday 15 January 2018 to:
