Neon Dance cerca artisti di danza, uomini e donne, molto capaci per rifare il cast della compagnia dell’ultimo lavoro a serata intera Empathy. Il periodo di impegno include anche il tour nazionale ed internazionale.

Informazioni sulla compagnia: Dal 2004 Neon Dance produce e crea per la scena e per lo schermo. Diretto artisticamente da Adrienne Hart, l’operato della compagnia appare in diversi luoghi nel Regno Unito – tra teatri, festival e gallerie (The Intention (2012), Falling from Trees (2010)) dagli spazi urbani a quelli digitali (Stages (2013), Archived’it (2011)). La collaborazione è al cuore della pratica della neon Dance che lavoria attraverso varie forme d’arte e a fianco ad artisti di fama mondiale su progetti che spesso coinvolgono la scienza contemporanea.
La crescente reputazione come compagnia audace ed sperimentale le ha permesso di creare una forte partnership con il Pavilion Dance South West (Dream Artist 2015-17), il Sound and Music (Audience Lab 2015-16) e il Sadler’s Wells (Adrienne Hart, Summer University 2015-18).
Un team dinamico è impegnato a presentare un lavoro ambizioso e di alta qualità. Nel 2016 hanno debuttato con Empathy – il loro primo pezzo a serata intera. Completando il primo showcase tour in marzo 2016, la produzione continuerà la tournée in autunno nel Regno Unito ed Europa.
Info su Empathy: Cosa rende il nostro comportamento unicamente umano? Toccante e carico di emozione, Empathy riflette su ciò che ci influenza con gli altri; in scena cinque ballerini. Prendendo spunto dal lavoro dello psicologo Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen (Zero Degrees of Empathy), Empathy è una vera esperienza teatrale dove movimento, suono e luci si combinano egualmente.
Cosa cerca la compagnia:
Neon Dance è interessata a danzatori di alto livello tecnico e creatività che vogliano lavorare collaborativamente come parte di un team, con esperienza e capacità ad apprendere e prendere velocemente il materiale.
Paga: £500 per la settimana di prove più viaggio e sistemazione. £150 per performance.

Neon Dance creates work for the stage and screen. Since 2004, we have produced a portfolio of bold, playful and risk-taking projects that ignite the public imagination.
Artistically led by Adrienne Hart, our work appears in diverse spaces across the UK – from theatres, festivals and galleries (The Intention (2012), Falling from Trees (2010)) to urban and digital space (Stages (2013), Archived’it (2011)). About the work:
What makes our behaviour uniquely human? Touching and emotionally charged, Empathy reflects on what influences us to emphasise with others. Five dancers jostle for position – folding, lifting and balancing against one another as they navigate through the award winning Numen’s beguiling laser light design.
Taking inspiration from the work of psychologist Professor Simon Baron-Cohen (Zero Degrees of Empathy), ‘Empathy’ is a truly theatrical experience where movement, sound and lighting combine and contribute in equal part.
What we’re looking for:
Highly technical and creatively strong dance artists who enjoy working as part of a collaborative team. We’re interested in hearing from experienced dance artists with the ability to learn and retain movement material quickly.
Fee: £500 per rehearsal week plus travel and accommodation. £150 per performance.
