Nathan Johnston sta cercando un danzatore e una danzatrice contemporanei per il nuovo lavoro Sleight of Hands. I danzatori devono essere disponibili per l’intero periodo. Le prove avranno luogo a Middlesbrough (North- East).
Audizione: L’audizione è solo su invito e si terrà domenica 28 febbraio 2016 a Newcastle. Ai selezionati verrà indicato il luogo.
Scadenza presentazione candidature: venerdì 19 febbraio 2016. Ai candidati selezionati verrà data notifica entro il 21 febbraio 2016.
Prove: settimana che inizia 11 aprile, settimana che inizia 18 aprile e settimana che inizia 25 aprile.
Giorno di produzione: 3 maggio 2016.
Spettacoli: 4 maggio, 8 e 10 giugno 2016 (North-East Tour).
Requisiti:
Per entrambi i ruoli bisogna avere forte tecnica nel floor-work, nel lavoro di partnering e capacità teatrali. Ai performers sarà richiesto di lavorare col testo.
Uomo: per questo ruolo è richiesto di usare le mani come un prestigiatore durante il suo movimento. E’ necessario avere conoscenza di questa forma d’arte.
Donna: deve essere capace di passare per una vasta gamma di stati fisici ed emotivi che il personaggio richiede.
Retribuzione
prove – £450 alla settimana
spettacoli: £150 al giorno + £20 P/Ds
La spesa di sistemazione a Middlesbrough sarà coperta o fornita dalla compagnia (se richiesta).

Nathan Johnston Audition (UK)
Nathan Johnston is looking for one male dancer trained in contemporary dance and close up magic/sleight of hand work and one female dancer trained in contemporary dance, both with high levels of character work for his new work Sleight of Hands. Dancers will need to be available for the whole working period. Rehearsals will take place in Middlesbrough (North- East).
Audition is by invitation only and will be held in Newcastle. Selected applicants will be given venue. Audition Date: Sunday 28th Feb 2016.
Deadline: Friday 19th Feb 2016. Selected applicants will be notified by Sunday 21st Feb 2016
Rehearsals: w/c 11th April, w/c 18th April, w/c 25th April.
Production day: 3rd May.
Performances: 4th May, 8th & 10th June. (North-East Tour).
Requirements:
Both roles must have strong technique in floor work, partner work and acting/character work. Performers will be required to deliver text.
Male Performer – This character will be required to perform complex close magic/sleight of hand work alongside movement. Applicants with prior knowledge of this art form are needed.
Character Reference – Jessie Eisenberg/dave franco – Now You See Me (Film) & Moriaty – Sherlock (TV Series).
Female Performer – Must be able to switch between the wide range of emotional and physical changes that the character goes through.
Character Reference – Mark Ruffalo – Now You See Me (Film) & Keyser Söze (Character Name) – Usual Suspects (Film)
Fees
Rehearsals – £450p/w
Shows – £150 Per Show Day + £20 P/Ds
Relocation to Middlesbrough will be covered by the company (if required).
