L’audizione si terrà a Londra presso il London Studio Centre, domenica 19 giugno 2016.
For You I Long the Longest esplora la continua evoluzione della natura degli affetti, riflettendo sulla bellezza e sulla brutalità dell’amore attraverso i lavori Second Self e Princess. Il lavoro teatrale di Luke Brown è una ricreazione reale della vita romantica sia affascinante che provocatoria, con una narrazione intima e una delicata coreografia. For You I Long the Longest sfoca le linee tra fantasia e realtà.
Luke Brown sta cercando danzatori con forte tecnica contemporanea ed esperienza nella contact improvisation e nel partnering, e che mostrino eccellente capacità e confidenza in entrambe oltre ad avere capacità di ideazione, di tenere a memoria un testo e abilità nel memorizzare velocemente i movimenti. La cura dei dettagli sarà estremamente importante. I danzatori devono essere di mente aperta e a loro agio lavorando in un ambiente collaborativo. Precedente esperienza di teatro e con il testo è preferibile ma non essenziale.
Audizione: L’audizione è solo su invito. La registrazione sarà possibile dalle 9:45. L’audizione si terrà dalle 10:00 alle 16:00 domenica 19 giugno 2016 (con recall domenica 26 giugno 2016) a Londra presso London Studio Centre – Arts Depot, 5 Nether Street – Tally Ho Corner – North Finchley.
Creazione: dal 4 al 17 luglio 2016 e dal 22 agosto al 4 settembre 2016.
Date delle prove: 11–12 settembre 2016; 20 settembre 2016; 26 settembre 2016; dal 3 al 5 ottobre 2016.
Date spettacoli: 13 settembre 2016; 21 settembre 2016; 27 settembre 2016; 6 ottobre 2016; 21 ottobre 2016.
Retribuzione per periodo di creazione: £440 alla settimana.
Retribuzione per le prove: £100 a prova.
Retribuzione a spettacolo: £150 a performance.

Luke Brown Dance Audition
Luke Brown (Artistic Director of Luke Brown Dance) is looking to work with 3 dance artists (both male and female) for the creation and tour of For You I Long the Longest.

For You I Long the Longest explores the ever-changing nature of affection, reflecting on the beauty and brutality of love through works ‘Second Self’ and ‘Princess’. Luke Brown’s theatrical recreation of real life romance is both charming and provoking, laced with intimate storytelling and delicate choreography. For You I Long the Longest blurs the lines between fantasy and reality in an honest and light hearted search for a happy ever after.
Luke Brown is seeking dancers with strong contemporary technique and experience in contact improvisation and partnering, showing excellent skills and confidence in both devising and delivering text as well as the ability to learn and retain movement material quickly. The retention of subtlety and detail is extremely important. Dancers must be open to taking direction and be comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Previous experience of theatre and text work is preferred but not essential.

Auditions will be by invitation only. 9:45am registration. Audition will run from 10am – 4pm,
