James Cousins Company sta cercando performers appassionati e versatili per per la creazione CLOSER, una nuova produzione teatrale di alto livello basata su Closer di Patrick Marber. Si cercano danzatori e danzatrici con esperienza, altamente creativi, con eccellente capacità nell’improvvisazione e nel contact, che siano esercitati a rispondere a una larga gamma di ‘tasks’ e che lavorino in modo collaborativo con James Cousins e gli altri membri del cast.

I membri del cast interpreteranno i quattro personaggi principali nella piece e quindi devono avere grandi capacità performative e di caratterizzazione oltre ad essere in grado di giungere alla maturità e alla profondità emotiva richiesta per questi ruoli impegnativi ed esigenti. “In qualità di membro della compagnia si diventa ambasciatore per il nostro lavoro”.

James Cousins Company cerca grandi lavoratori e individui che si impegnino e vogliano investire in questa nuova entusiasmante opportunità.
Si consiglia di conoscere il lavoro della compagnia prima di candidarsi.
E’ necessario essere fluenti nell’inglese a causa dell’esplorazione col testo all’interno del piéce.

L’audizione è soltanto su invito e si terrà l’11 agosto 2016 dalle 10.30 alle 17.30. Call back venerdì 12 agosto 2016 dalle ore 10:00 per i candidati selezionati.

Il contratto consisterà in vari blocchi con due periodi di creazione nel Regno Unito, uno in gennaio e febbraio 2017 e un altro da giugno 2017 e oltre. Tutto ciò dipende dai finanziamenti.

Le candidature devono contenere:
1. lettera di presentazione in cui si descrive perché ci si sente adatti per questi ruoli con la compagnia e motivazione della candidatura
2. descrizione delle disponibilità
3. Curriculum vitae (max 2 pagine con le maggiori esperienze)
4. Un link video in cui danzate è consigliato ma non essenziale (link a Vimeo / YouTube o simili)

I candidati che non includono tutto ciò sopra richiesto non verrano presi in considerazione. Si prega di NON includere files video nella candidatura poiché non saranno guardati.

James Cousins Company Audition

Male and female dancers wanted for new creation ‘CLOSER’, a new highly theatrical production based on the award winning play ‘Closer’ by Patrick Marber.
James Cousins Company are looking for passionate and versatile performers for an exciting new venture.

We are looking for experienced, highly creative dance artists with excellent improvisation and contact skills, who are excited to respond to a range of creative tasks and work collaboratively with James and the other cast members, to create a unique and new theatrical experience that will get audiences talking.
Cast members will be taking on the play’s four leading characters and so must have exceptional performance and characterisation skills and be able to bring the required maturity and emotional depth to these challenging and demanding roles.
As a company member you will become a key ambassador for our work.

We are looking for hard working and committed individuals who want to invest in this exciting next stage.
Prior knowledge of the company’s work and knowledge of the play is preferable.
Fluency in English is essential due to the exploration of text within the work.

Please note that this audition is by invitation only.
When: Thursday 11th August 10.30 – 17.30. There will be a call back on Friday 12th August from 10.30 for selected candidates. 
The contract will be in several blocks with two periods of creation in the UK, one in January and February 2017 and another from June 2017 onwards. This is funding dependent.

Applications must include:
1. a covering letter stating why you feel you are suitable for these roles with the company and your motivation for applying
2. An outline of your availability
3. CV (max 2 page with most recent experience at the top)
4. A clear video link to you dancing is favourable but not essential, Vimeo / YouTube or similar
Applications that do not include all of the above will not be considered. Please do NOT include video files in your application, these will not be viewed.
