Audizione Avant Garde Dance per nuova produzione, Fagin’s Twist, co-prodotta da The Place di Londra

In seguito al successo del tour internazionale e nel Regno Unito Avant Garde Dance, compagnia guidata da Tony Adigun, farà un casting per la nuova produzione Fagin’s Twist.
Fagin’s Twist utilizzerà uno stile dinamico, tratto distintivo della compagnia, e rileggerà la storia di Oliver Twist di Dickens. Per la produzione la compagnia cerca danzatori eclettici che siano forti sia nella tecnica contemporanea che nell’hip hop e che abbiano anche confidenza col testo parlato.
Il progetto è co-commissionato da The Place, East London Dance, Pavilion Dance South West and Dance East, e co-prodotto da The Place.
Per Fagin’s Twist le prove e le date saranno in primavera e autunno 2016. Precedentemente ci sarà un periodo di lavoro tra 30 marzo e 16 maggio 2015, in cui è incluso uno sharing come arte dell’East London Dance and Pavilion Dance South West’s Hip Hop Summit a Bournemouth.
L’audizione si svolgerà a Londra, presso The Place sabato 21 febbraio, dalle 11.00 alle 19.00.
L’audizione è su invito. Per candidarsi è necessario inviare entro lunedì 9 febbraio 2015 una mail a Sarah Maguire sarah.maguire@theplace.org.uk con il proprio curriculum vitae. I candidati selezionati saranno invitati all’audizione entro il 17 febbraio 2015.

Adigun’s Avant Garde Dance Audition
Following on from the success of the international and UK tour of The Black Album, Tony Adigun’s Avant Garde Dance are now casting for their new production Fagin’s Twist.
Deadline for application: Monday 9 February. Where: The Place, London. When: Saturday 21 February, 11am – 7pm at The Place. Entry to the audition is by application only.
Fagin’s Twist will use the company’s distinctive and dynamic style to re-tell Dickens’ story of Oliver Twist. We are looking for an eclectic mix of dancers who are strong in contemporary and/or hip hop technique, have physical performance skills and are confident speaking text.
The project is co-commissioned by The Place, East London Dance, Pavilion Dance South West and Dance East, and co-produced by The Place.
Fagin’s Twist will rehearse and tour in spring & autumn 2016. Prior to that there will be an R&D period between 30 March and 16 May 2015, which includes a sharing as part of East London Dance and Pavilion Dance South West’s Hip Hop Summit in Bournemouth.
