Aerowaves Twenty. Call per coreografi emergenti e promettenti in Europa

Ogni anno la rete Aerowaves seleziona 20 fra i coreografi emergenti più promettenti in Europa. Aerowaves promuove il loro lavoro per un anno creando opportunità di distribuzione con i partner.
Entrare nel network – Tutti coloro che si candidano ad Aerowaves hanno la possibilità di avere il loro lavoro programmato dai partner del network, anche se non vengono selezionati come artisti Aerowaves. Ci sono circa 100 opportunità di circuitazione garantite dai partner e supportati da Aerowaves ogni anno.
Presentazione del proprio lavoro – Se dovesse essere selezionato come uno degli Aerowaves Twenty’, il vostro lavoro sarà promosso da Aerowaves tramite il suo sito web per un anno con profilo dell’artista, immagini, video e rassegna stampa in un unico posto.
Come candidarsi – ci si può candidare utilizzando il modulo di iscrizione online tra il 1 giugno e il 14 settembre 2015. Ogni domanda deve includere un link-video su Vimeo. Il file video originale deve essere inviato a Aerowaves utilizzando con We Transfer. Aerowaves non usa più il DVD!
Suggerimenti per candidarsi:
- Leggere i criteri di ammissibilità a fondo prima di candidarsi
- candidarsi il più presto possibile
- Darsi tempo per caricare il video su Vimeo – i problemi tecnici provocano stress, soprattutto all’ultimo minuto!
- Assicurarsi che il video del lavoro che si sta presentando sia della più alta qualità possibile e della giusta lunghezza
- fate in modo che i vostri rappresentanti nazionali Aerowaves sappiano che vi state candidando e invitateli a vedere la vostra performance live
Il vostro video su Vimeo:
- Si prega di caricare il video su Vimeo in HD e inserire il link nel modulo di domanda
- Utilizzare le impostazioni di privacy, se non si desidera che sia pubblico, ma includete la password nel modulo di candidatura
- Se il video è troppo grande per l’iscrizione gratuita di Vimeo, si dovrebbe prendere un abbonamento Vimeo Plus per un mese (costa € 7,95)
- Usiamo i vostri link Vimeo per condividerli coi partner Aerowaves prima della nostra riunione annuale nel mese di ottobre
criteri di eligibilità
- essere residenti in Europa
- candidare soltanto un lavoro al’anno
- il lavoro candidato deve essere stato fatto in area geografica europea
- il lavoro deve essere compreso tra 15 e 40 minuti di lunghezza
- il lavoro dovrebbe essere “agile” e avere richieste tecniche semplici in modo da poter essere inserito in uno spettacolo con altri lavori
- i lavori degli studenti post-laurea sono accettati ma non quelli degli studenti in corso
- si deve compilare correttamente l’application-form Aerowaves, caricare il video su Vimeo, fornirci la password se necessario e mandarci il file originale tramite We Transfer
- i precedenti candidati di Aerowaves, vincenti o no, possono candidarsi di nuovo ma non con lo stesso lavoro

Call for Promising Emerging Choreographers in Europe: Aerowaves Twenty
Each year the Aerowaves network selects 20 of the most promising emerging choreographers in Europe. Aerowaves promotes their work for a year, creating opportunities to perform with our Partners.
Reach a network – Everyone who applies to Aerowaves has the chance to have their work programmed by the partners of the network, whether or not they are selected as Aerowaves artists. Around 100 performance opportunities are guaranteed by the partners and supported by Aerowaves each year.
Exposure for your work – Should you be selected as one of the Aerowaves Twenty, your work will be promoted by Aerowaves via its website for one year by an artist profile, with images, video and press coverage all in one place.
How to apply – Apply using the online application form between 1 June and 14 September 2015. Each application must include a link to a video hosted on Vimeo AND the original video file must be sent to us using We Transfer – we are not using DVDs anymore!
Application Tips
- Read the eligibility criteria thoroughly before putting your application together
- Get your application in as early as possible
- Give yourself plenty of time to upload your video to Vimeo – technical hitches cause stress, especially at the last minute!
- Make sure the video of the work you are submitting is of the highest possible quality and correct length
- Let your national Aerowaves representatives know that you are applying and invite them to see your performance live
Providing your video on Vimeo
- Please upload your video to Vimeo in HD and include the link in your application form
- Use the privacy settings if you do not wish it to be public, but include the password in your application form
- If your video is too big for Vimeo’s free membership, you should take a Vimeo Plus subscription for one month at €7.95
- We use your Vimeo links to share with Aerowaves Partners before our Annual Meeting in October – so that they can do their homework!
Sending your video by We Transfer
- We no longer accept DVDs sent in the post
- Please follow the instructions on wetransfer.com to upload and send your video file to info@aerowaves.org
- Ensure that you send us the highest quality video file that you have of your work
- We will download your video file onto a hard drive to use during our Annual Meeting in October
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be resident in Europe to apply
- You may apply with only one work per year
- The work you are submitting must have been made in geographical Europe
- Your work must be 15-40 minutes in length
- Your work should be easily included in a double or triple bill and have simple technical requirements
- Work by postgraduate students is eligible, but not work by undergraduates
- You must fill in the Aerowaves application form correctly, upload your video to Vimeo, providing us with the link and the password if necessary and send us the original video file by We Transfer
- Previous Aerowaves applicants, successful or unsuccessful, may apply again – but you cannot apply with the same work twice.
