Il Ballett Gesellschaft Hannover invita a presentare domanda di partecipazione al 38° Concorso coreografico internazionale di Hannover.
Il concorso è aperto a coreografi e danzatori con una formazione professionale e di qualsiasi stile artistico.
I criteri rilevanti per il concorso sono l’uso immaginativo dello spazio e del tempo, la realizzazione dell’idea e il trasferimento agli attori.
Il concorso è riservato a coreografi di età non superiore ai 39 anni.
Lo spettacolo deve avere una durata compresa tra i 5 e i 12 minuti.
Gli assoli non possono essere interpretati dal coreografo stesso.
Sulla base di queste condizioni formali viene creato un concorso aperto a qualsiasi stile artistico.
Le candidature devono essere inviate entro il 31 marzo 2024.

Per la prima volta nel 2024 verranno assegnati 2 premi principali:
- Tanja Liedtke Award Choreography Hannover con una dotazione di 25.000 euro
- Ruth Schwieger Award Choreography Hannover con una dotazione di 5.000 euro
Verranno inoltre assegnati il Premio della critica pari a 1.500 € e il Premio del pubblico pari a 1.000 €
Tra tutte le candidature pervenute un giuria ristretta selezionerà i 20 partecipanti che verranno invitati al concorso. Questa pre- giuria sarà composta da:

La Giuria che assegnerà il Tanja Liedtke Award Choreography Hannover e il Ruth Schwieger Award Choreography Hannover sarà composta da:

Inoltre, verranno assegnati premi di produzione alle seguenti condizioni:
- Compenso di almeno 3.000 €
- Pagamento delle spese di viaggio e di alloggio durante le prove
- Sviluppo di una coreografia di almeno 20 minuti con preferibilmente più di quattro ballerini della compagnia
- Accompagnamento e sostegno da parte del direttore del corpo di ballo e dei responsabili delle prove
I premi di produzione saranno selezionati dal direttore di ciascuna compagnia. L’obiettivo è quello di assegnare un premio al coreografo scelto e ritenuto adatto alla propria compagnia. Non è garantito che i premi di produzione vengano assegnati.

38th International Choreographic Competition Hanover
Ballett Gesellschaft Hannover hereby invites applications for the 38th International Choreographic Competition Hanover.
The competition is open to choreographers and dancers with a professional education and of any artistic style. The relevant criteria for the competition are the imaginative use of space and time, the realization of the idea, and the transfer to the actors.
The competition is limited to choreographers aged 39 years or younger.
The performance has to be between 5 and 12 minutes long.
Solo-ballets may not be interpreted by the choreographer her/himself.
Based upon these formal conditions we create the possibility of a competition open to any artistic style.

In addition, we will give Production Awards with the following conditions:
- Fee at least € 3,000 €
- Payment of travel expenses and accommodation during rehearsals
- Development of a choreography of at least 20 minutes with preferably more than four dancers of the company
- Accompaniment and support by the director of the dance ensemble and the rehearsal leaders
Production awards will be selected by the director of each company. The aim is to give an award to the choreographer they select and find suitable for their company. There is no guarantee that the production prizes will be awarded.
