Dima Dmytro Grynov “Free limits” cerca danzatori/performer/movers contemporanei per una nuova ricerca artistica Shell Shock O’K.
Shell Shock O’K è una ricerca dedicata al tema del disturbo post traumatico che si manifesta nel corpo a causa di guerre ed eventi violenti che causano minacce e pericoli reali.
Questo bando è rivolto a danzatori/performer/mover professionisti con una forte tecnica di danza contemporanea, una solida conoscenza del lavoro a terra, del partnering e una sicura esperienza nell’improvvisazione. Una profonda presenza scenica e capacità performative saranno considerate come ulteriori plus.
Il coreografo cerca artisti curiosi e appassionati, desiderosi di impegnarsi nella profondità del processo di ricerca e che non abbiano paura di superare i propri limiti. Apprezza gli artisti impegnati e laboriosi, capaci di essere vulnerabili, fragili ed esposti ai nervi, ai movimenti, alle emozioni e pronti a immergersi nel processo creativo e a scoprire qualcosa di nuovo sia a livello personale che professionale.
Questa opportunità è preferibile per gli artisti che risiedono legalmente in Germania a causa di questioni fiscali. Tuttavia, anche gli artisti residenti nell’UE con un permesso di lavoro valido possono candidarsi (le tasse estere saranno dedotte).
Periodo di lavoro: 4 settimane distribuite tra la seconda metà di luglio e settembre 2022 (probabilmente la prima metà di ottobre, da definire).
Potenziali presentazioni – settembre/ottobre, dicembre 2022.
Onorario: Il periodo di ricerca e i compensi per le presentazioni saranno allineati agli standard di LAFT Berlino.

Inoltre, allegare i link a un massimo di 4 video che dimostrino la versatilità nella danza (floorwork, improvvisazione e partnering saranno considerati un plus). Dmytro Grynov è un artista di danza ucraino freelance, insegnante e coreografo, che attualmente vive a Berlino, in Germania, e lavora in tutta Europa. Ha partecipato a numerosi progetti sia in teatro che in produzioni cinematografiche, collaborando con un’ampia gamma di compagnie di danza e artisti indipendenti freelance, sviluppando la propria metodologia di movimento “Free limits” e realizzando coreografie di vario genere. Le collaborazioni più importanti sono state con compagnie come Sasha Waltz & Guests, Unusual symptoms, Bodytalk, X Filme, SKY Television, Every Friday, XX Tanz Theater, Xocolat, Grace Euna Kim e Jasper van Luijk, tra le altre. È inoltre orgoglioso di collaborare con coreografi freelance ed ex danzatori di compagnie come Batsheva dance company (Guy Shomroni, Erez Zohar, Yaniv Abraham) e Göteborgsoperans Danskompani (Jim de Block).

Dima Dmytro Grynov “Free limits” is looking for contemporary dancers/performers/movers for a new artistic research Shell Shock O’K.
Shell Shock O’K is research dedicated to the topic of post traumatic disorder that manifests in the body due to war and violent events that cause real life threat and danger.
This call is for professional dancers/performers/movers with strong contemporary dance technique, solid knowledge in floor work, partnering and confident experience with improvisation. Profound stage presence and descent performative skills will be considered as additional plus.
«I’m looking for curious and passionate artistic individuals, who are eager to commit themselves into the depth of the research process and are not afraid to go beyond their own limits. I appreciate committed, hard-working artists, who are capable of being vulnerable, fragile and exposed to the nerve, movements, emotions and ready to dive into the creative process and discover something new both on personal and professional levels».
This opportunity is preferably for the artists that are legally based in Germany due to tax related issues. However EU based artists with valid working permit are allowed to apply as well (foreign tax will be deducted).
Working period: 4 weeks spreaded between second half of July – September 2022 (probably first half of October, tbc).
Potential presentations – September/October, December 2022.
Honorarium: Research period and presentation fees will be aligned with the standards of LAFT Berlin.

There is no fee for participation in the audition. Accommodation and travel costs will not be covered for the invited artists.

Dmytro Grynov is an Ukrainian freelance dance artist, teacher and choreographer, currently living in Berlin, Germany and working across Europe. He has performed in numerous projects both in theater and film productions, working with a wide range of dance companies and independent freelance artists, developing his own movement methodology “Free limits” and choreographing across the board. Most prominent collaborations were with companies such as Sasha Waltz & Guests, Unusual symptoms, Bodytalk, X Filme, SKY Television, Every Friday, XX Tanz Theater, Xocolat, Grace Euna Kim and Jasper van Luijk amongst others. Also he is proud of collaboration with freelance choreographers and former dancers from companies such as Batsheva dance company (Guy Shomroni, Erez Zohar, Yaniv Abraham) and Göteborgsoperans Danskompani (Jim de Block).
